Barling Magna Wildlife Reserve we were told about this place by a friend, its a short drive from southend but easily accessible, we have been a few times during the day but not actually bumped into any others over there yet but hope to soon. however for daytimes it is ideal as has a nice secluded bird hide that looks like its rarely used by anyone so great for a little fun during the day

Half way along Haynes Green Road, area to pull in by woods. Lots of paths and tracks to secluded spots where people have left notes and underwear. Be careful of dog walkers during the day but they do stick to the main paths so safe enough once in the secluded areas. Be good to see this used by couples. Wife and I go there during the daytime if passing. Not very often but you never know your luck
Quiet carpark with some lighting. some places darker than others. Leads on to woods and field.
The walk path thats generally used to walk dogs and also joggers etc, through the forest and woods in Nathans Lane, Edney Common, Highwood - Chelmsford - anywhere at anytime, lots of paths and lanes to follow, very private and secure - large wooded area and expanse - great for privacy!
