For me it is about being honest, if you advertise a number of members then I would like to think that meant active members not every member that ever joined.
Isn't it like saying there aren't a people in the world (who are alive at this point)there are actually 960 ...(a lot of whome haven't done anything for a bit)...

Surely the emotional thing is instinctive, so you are not using a choice? You are just reacting without thought/consideration?
I choose to use the word for good, not evil...in fact I think most things I tend to use for good, because I think there is more good in the world than not.
I won't judge people, everyone is individual and provided they don't set out to hurt others then for me it's all fair game.
Isn't "insecure arsehole" kinda "foul mouthed"? dunno

I am 50% of the way through the book (on my Kindle) and am now finding it VERY different from the film !

It's not...and it doesn't... lol

It comes from the Latin word cunniform which means wedge-shaped.
Other words like cunnilingus etc share the same origin.
It was shortened to cunny in the less recent past and then to cunt more recently.
I think it is a great word in the response it gets.

I read all the James Bond books too, the new Casino Royale is more true to the book...well, on the way lol
The Red Dwarf books are great and love the TV programme too, they are different and good in their own way...Oh I was in the last episode too wink

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo books are great, the film was good too, with a nice twist for the people who had read the books...I haven't seen the original Swedish films, supposedly they are good.
I must confess that I recommended the Bourne books to Ben, the 1st 3 are amaaaaazing and much better than the films...although I loved them too. Quite a big sub-plot was missed out of the films However there was a TV film in 1988 I think and that had this particular plot line innit (on youtube).
The Kite Runner was a superb book, shame the film didn't measure up.
No country for old men, rubbish book...rubbisherer film! lol

One film that is exactly as the graphic novel (comic) was...Sin City! I haven't read (looked at the pictures) of the comic (graphic novel) but the film is superb!...cue Tweeky :lol:

Just a couple of things to throw into the mix;
Power, the balance of and the shifting of is something that you can play with...either as a sub or a dom. In fact it plays a great role in all interactions.
You have the choice, in fact you don't even need to trust...just be willing to choose to do it. You could argue that the less trust you have the more exciting it will be. Conversly other people try this stuff purely because they do trust someone to share the journey with them.

Just a suggestion; why not print out what you have posted and show her that on paper? You are writing honestly and clearly from my point of view.
If you are honest then it is real...sometimes it's easier to read something and that might lead to a discussion.

I think you are kinda putting the horse before the cart here.
You say you occasionally are in the mood for a quick meet and we can see that is slightly harder than a normal meet. I would suggest that even a normal one takes a little time and effort to communicate and screen.
So you are putting more pressure on yourselves, by doing that.
I know that people have different moods and states of mind but maybe if you changed your frame of reference; i.e. always be in a mood to meet people as/when you decide they are good enough to meet.
If you are more horny then you can always contact people you have already spoken to.
That made more sense in my head....hopefully you can see what I mean lol

I have to say I disagree; for us it was the 1st time we've been. The atmosphere was good, the people were cool...in fact we spent 5hrs there.
We saw quite a lot of toys/things in real life that were good/different. We got inspired by some things, too wink

Even though we missed some of the workshops, we met up with a few old friends and a few new ones too, so all good.
We'd go again lol

I reckon amongst all the people I meet there might even be a few swingers! Wehey!
Now I'm the same person; with the same values, ideals and morals.
So meeting people that I have never met before doesn't phase me at all, in fact it is quite exciting.
The odd thing about the internet is that you can find out about people before you actually meet. This is good to get to know people but it's bad because you can lose the "social dance" that can happen in person.
Now I understand that it's good to get an idea if people are "for you", but I have enough time to have a drink with people and not worry if there's no "action" afterwards lol
