I was taking my time getting dressed after the shower ,unsure what Jill's reaction was going to be ,just before I rejoined her I heard the lunch arriving and was gratefull for the extra time to get some composure . I joined Jill and was delighted that her face was full of smiles ,"get into bed you randy sod ,I think you need me to relax you then maybe you'll calm down ,loose those shorts when you're in bed " . I worked extremely hard over the next couple of days trying to reach the stage when the consultant would let me leave ,so I was delighted when after 5 days he said I could leave in the morning ,Jill was thrilled when I rang her saying she would collect me at 10.30 the following morning . I struggled to get any sleep that night ,packing my bag straight after breakfast ,got my letter for the GP and district nurse ,full instructions for care plan and I was ready for off . I was begining to pinch myself the house was spectacular ,large rooms ,high ceilings and furniture straight from the glossy mags ,what a bloody hotel ,however I couldn't help but wonder why no staff appeared ,Jill ushered me into thelift and then took me to my spectacular room which overlooked the front garden " you get a shower and change into something comfortable then join me for coffee downstairs . I only had 1 clean pair of shorts left so the choice was easy ,as I went down in the lift I hoped she would be ok with my apparell, I called her name and she appeared at the far end of the corridor " down here ,we can have coffee then we'll decide what we kneed to do to get you settled " as I snuggled on the large sofa she read the care plan the picked up the phone "hi Chris it's Jill I need a favour , a young friend needs some staples removing tomorrow can you help ?" after a minute or so she replaced the reciever " she'll come and take a look at you this evening ,now I've arranged for some one to bring over some clothes for you to try ,I hope you dont mind ".....
