A plee for ops in the chatrooms

I dont normaly post unless its to add myself to a social or munch list but hey just had to voice my bit..sorry if its all been said before...but if is has why the heck hasnt something been done?
Right here goes.
I know it is a difficult thankless job that doesnt pay........but please can some sort of rota be worked out so there is an op on duty at all times ( or even someone from admin made avaliable).
More often or not when i log in there is some sort of argument or abuse being thrown about and we are powerless to do anything about it except ask for them to stop.
Yes we can report to admin but that doesnt stop the abuse etc getting out of hand at the time. Plus as its happening on a daily basis. Reporting them all make you sound like a right winger instead of someone who has come in to chat/flirt and exchange freindly banter with like minded people.
Yes we can ignore but it will still be going on and spoiling the room banter.
Yes we can move rooms but then we loose the group we are chatting to.
Lots of people are only chatting in whisper now and its frustrating and can be embarassing to say the least when you accidently click onto the wrong persons nick and send them a message ment for someone else.
So come on guys lets not loose the commuity spirit that made this site all them years ago. Lets be sociable and be able to chat in the rooms with the knowledge we wont be witness to an avoidable argument or abuse for prolonged periods.
Right rant over ......I know i dont stand alone in this wish so come on admin get your act together please.
P.S. whilst am on a role how about setting up an auto kick so when people just sit logged in for days on end not saying a word they get automaticaly logged out. Makes room for people who want to chat dont you think wink

Perhaps you care to read your post again. What was said that ops are around, even if they are not showing up in the 'home of chatroom ops'. The best way to find an op is to look at the forums home page; the ops online at that time are highlighted in the user list. Feel free to pm any of them who should be along as soon as they can to sort your problem out. As has been said before, all of the ops are volunteers who are giving up their free time to assist on this site, and as a consequence there will be times when not many are around. However, if you pm pon of us with times, room names and which server the problem arose on, you will find that all of the ops do their utmost to sort out any trouble.
Given that I'm usually on or around here for 10 hrs a day on average, feel free to pm me if you have problems lol

I have to say the default rooms are generally the busiest, maybe it is because they know people will always be in there and maybe because these people just do not want the responsiblity of running a room?

It's January, my busiest month of the year so very often this month when I'm in here, I'm chilling but will definitely not ignore someone that needs help. I might not go looking for trouble because quite frankly I'm knackered at the moment sad

Not at all marya; if we know about a problem we can deal with it. I dont know any of the ops who will ignore a request for assistance. As Fire has said, we are busy in our vanilla jobs ( me too flat in Jan) but we will try and sort any problem out as quickly as we can. And you certainly wont be treated as that 'fucking marya ' again lol (but does that qualify me for my free bj:huh) lol

Not at all marya; if we know about a problem we can deal with it. I dont know any of the ops who will ignore a request for assistance.
