Android tablet - can view cams but can't display ours.

We tried to access chat via an Android 4.2 tablet and were able to do so and view cams quite easily. When we tried to select our cam in the usual way, however, we got an on screen error message stating no cam was connected. The tablet has a camera but we could find no way to access it's settings via the SH screen. If I recall correctly on our laptop, clicking on the camera window usually brings up various options, including
'settings' but we could not do this on the tablet. We're novices at all this so is this problem connected to the Flash Player issue and is there any easy way to solve it? Cheers.

I may be wrong (usually am) but from what I can gather flash is no longer supported by Android? (or viceversa )
You can find some reference to it here

and I feel sure there is a workaround to it but cos it's android it doesn't exist in my Applesphere.

Thanks for that link - if only it was in English... biggrin

Most of this stuff is over my head, I just find it odd that we can view the chatrooms and cams on the tablet but not access our own camera.

Hey...we are having the same problem too...we cam see other cams but can't display ours.....also using an android tab.. (Samsung galaxy note)
Did u work it out in the end??

I'll have to get this confirmed but I'm pretty sure that there was a recent announcement regarding being able to use your camera/show yourself on camera on your android device ...that it was now up and running (just not for apple/ios at the moment)
