Standard service from PC World I'm afraid :sad: Quicker for them just to do a re-install.
Just out of interest, was "System Tool" what you got hit with? This is a fake anti-virus that seems to be particularly prevalent at the moment, not that hard to remove though, just takes a bit of time. Best advice to avoid is keep your OS patched and anti-virus up to date.
I got a virus on this lappy on Friday courtesy of my eldest, bless him. Stopped me accessing anything, prevented me running a scan and couldnt even access my processes via task manager. In the end I just did a restore back to a few days before I got the damn thing and hey presto, all ok

All may seem well, but not necessarily - system restore will remove the registry keys - but the files will remain. So you can run the system normally but it is still infected.

It was just a crap virus that was trying to direct/scare you into purchasing an alleged "new license".

got malawarebytes every time ive used it screen freeze de-leated itguy in p c world got me up and running but some of the drivers were missing,couldnt find them. took laptop home when i come across what is missing go back and he will trace and install for me at no charge.(fingers crossed) happy hunting
