Being harassed in chat….

So I blocked this guy but every time I post, even though he can’t see what I’ve posted he’s being very derogatory. How can I stop it?

A couple of things here- block only works in PM's not in the main chat, people you have blocked can still see what you post in rooms you are both in. The block will, however, mean that they can't view your cam.

If you're being harassed and/or abused by anyone in chat (or elsewhere on the site) the best thing you can do is report it, either using the report button by clicking on their name in the chatroom (or the report button at the bottom of their profile) or alternatively find a moderator if there is one online and report it- they will investigate and take any necessary action.

The more detail you're able to supply about when and what happened/ what was said, the more easily it can be dealt with.

It should be obvious, but it bears repeating, nobody on the site should have to deal with Harassment or abuse on the site- we will NOT tolerate it. Please block and where necessary report, and avoid naming and shaming.

Hi, I am sorry you are experiencing this. It is unacceptable and as Lapua says report them. I was very annoyed today by the behaviour of someone in chat and have reported them ..................... there is no need for boorish behaviour here
