Could not see a sticky for the new beta chat room.
Did you want feed back!
Am using Firefox ( ) and has crashed twice...
Memory error, firefox closed.
2nd time was clicking between rooms, it locked up and had to kill Firefox.

Beta Chatroom - Is there a report a bug page!
Loged out. Went to login in again and locked PC up. Reboot needed.
Could be me but PC has been ok for months and I need it for work, so need to be OK.
Have got loads of programs installed. Like PeerGuardian 2, this blocks the chat room talking with Schlund + Partner AG. Seems to be a german company who do hosting but why is my PC talking to them? h**p://
Will try nasty IE next.
Flash, Shockwave, Sun Java all up to date.

Looks good.
Using same version of Firefox as you. All is working fine here. Use several pc's with different o/s and they are all good at the moment. (fingers crossed).

At the moment the beta isn't running on our servers but the developers, I suspect that are their registrar.

currently in both old chat and beta chat. - moving between all three servers on old chat without problems.

This is a BETA, its not a working program, its a test. If you dont want things to go wrong then dont use any beta programs.
If some are having no problems, then the people who are have to work out what we have thats different to the working ones. Thats the FUN of betas.

Both. I have a bog standard, non opping account and that works fine too.

Used chatroom last night. Closed window. Left PC on over night.
Could not use internet this morning. PC locked up had to reboot.
Just used chatroom again, its fine while am using it, seems the video is better but that might just be in my head.
Then you log out, takes its time. Thats when it locks PC.
I closed everything in the task manager that was not needed and stilll it didnt free PC up.
Something is not letting go when it should do.
If you want me to run a program that you think could help then ask.

no real tech problems just some thoughts on the new chat.

buttons for photos - don't need to go to new window & profile to perve
button for profile - 1 click less, fine by me
clicking on room joins, again 1 click less, like it
swirchable cams and user/room lists - more room for chat
Didn't like:
separate whisper tabs - lose thread of chat, but could get used to it, especially if whispering to more than one, we'll see.
Return didn't work in whisper tabs to send msg had to use button
Emoticons didn't work in whisper tabs
Msgs were slow to appear in chat window after sending
Webcams don't appear in seprate list, have to scroll through all users to see who's on cam.
Overall, quite liked, just used to the old chat now, sure once it's up and running reliably (unlike old chat!) we'll get used to and love it.
It's different tonight from last nght, now has separate lists for users and rooms, preferred last nights with tabs.

Count yourself lucky - I've never got it to load once in either Firefox or IE 6 since the Beta room came back
I'm sorry and appologies but wouldn't it be better when posting about a problem to keep to the spacifics about the problem and maybe include information about Operating system, firewalls and Internet service provider. i dont know but call me think but this information may just help admin solve any problems
