We've chatted to some people and subsequently decided not to have further contact and block them but every so often we still get chatroom PM's from some of them. Why? Seems to rather negate the whole point of blocking....
Never did get an answer to this... ;)
Your best bet is to raise a ticket using the contact us link- it sounds like a job for the admin guys to look at for you.

Just to be clear, when you block profiles they will still be appear in the chatrooms. Those profiles are not hidden and will be visible to you in the member list just as your name will be visible to them. If you click on their name you will see that only 3 options appear - 'mention', 'report' and 'unblock'.There is no option to view their profiles or PM them and I don't see how it can be possible for them to PM you but it has happened to us so there must be some sort of glitch at work.
People come and go here so I'm wondering whether someone whose been blocked under one account name then deleted that account can rejoin the site some time later using the exact same name (if it hasn't been used by someone else) but with a clean slate as it were, thereby avoiding any previous blocks. Just a thought...

Thankyou for that. I've taken note of it and will endeavour to use it. IRL (you know who you're chatting to....) with some on here (unless you met them) you don't know who they are. I also thought about the refreshing accounts too. It's virtually done everywhere now. You have to be so (l constantly am) hypervigulant... especially as being a single woman.....
