The only way that they could be booted is if the host or an ops booted them.
And you would have spotted the op coming into the room as they have a yellow star as their chat icon.
Unless they didn't get into the room before it automatically shut which it does within a certain time scale if it is empty.

May have meant booted off the comp - room closed down - connection problem etc. Does it to me often with no help from any chat op or room host lol

if an op or the room host boots a person from the room it comes up with a message to the rest of the room that 'so and so' was booted. if no message came up then it probably a problem with their server/pc/lappy etc and nothing too sinister
