I am beginning to suspect that there are 'booters' operating in the chatrooms. I am continually getting disconnected. The chatroom almost immehdiately reconnects. But, tonight I was disconnected and the computer shutdown for one hour or so. This sort of thing happened in the early days of chat where 'booters' were rife. Anybody any ideas?

I can assure you there are no 'booters' or at least not in the manner in which you seem to be describing and if it helps I'm having the pretty much same problem and suffering the occasioanal disconnection and for no apparent reason. All I can say is that the tech guys are aware of the issue.

There's no "Booters" in the Chatroom, but I too am experiencing issues with the chatroom: " error loading page" Despite me being in the Chatroom - error message in the bottom left hand side : " error on page", "waiting for .....jpg" to download.
It's slowing the Chatroom
As mentioned by Toots above, you should open a support ticket so the techs can work with you to diagnose where the problem is. Even if others have opened a ticket, it's still worth you doing so because it sometimes helps them to spot common factors between the people experiencing the issue.
