I have not been the subject if this but it really annoys me when someone is in a chat room or on cam and is subjested to a torrent of what I can only describe as bulling from others in the room. Whilst this is a rare occurance it does annoy me as, I was in a room earlier when a guy was on cam with his wife/girlfriend and he the comments being posted were 'how did he pull a girl like that and he was fat/ugly, he must have paid her etc etc.
I was wondering if this constituted an abuse and could any one else other than the person being bullied or the room owner could file a complaint as this is becoming an ever increasing part of the chatroom chat.
I dont why people do it other than the fact they they think they are being funny or are socially inept in some way.
It has got that bad that I was thinking of leaving the site and from friend sI have made on this site I am not alone in fact some of them have left for this very reason.
Sorry for the rant but I wanted to share this and wanted to know if any others have noticed this

Bullying or directing? There is a difference.
No form of abuse should be entertained, if the people on cam had no issue then it's their call.

If you have any concerns about bullying please report it to one of the Op team if you see one of us online. Alternatively you can submit a report by:
(a) sending a pm direct to the Admin account
(b) clicking on the button in the top right corner of the chatroom window
Please include details of what happened, approx time and name of the room. Admin investigate any reports of abuse towards other members.
Taken from the chatroom T&Cs:
"We encourage everyone to treat each other respectfully. Do not use the website to threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse others participating in any of our Service. Refrain from all expressions of bigotry, racism and homophobia."

Unfortunately mr-sinclair you are right. A lot of very crude, insulting comments masquerade as jovial chit-chat in the chatrooms, especially in the larger rooms. I would love the chatrooms to be a haven of open-mindedness and acceptance, but in reality it just mirrors the real world - there are a few rude, disrespectful or just thoughtless people about that must think that jeering remarks on strangers is endearing or witty. dunno
It is an internet affliction - as a lot of these people would never actually say that to somebody's face; they only feel free to type their ugly minds because the transaction here is so impersonal. For this reason, most of people making such comments often recoil with a bit of admonishing :jagsatwork: and to give people a bit of slack, it is true that sometimes it is hard to know what is acceptable on a site where normal social rules of conduct don't apply. But get two or three of the more uncouth ones together and the mood can get really negative - time to leave the room, or get in an argument.
I hate to see well-meaning sensible members being driven out because of this! I am determined to stand my ground and need more of the same to baricade with me! (preferably in a room of our own lol) By all means, if you think comments are questionable but can't decide if it is really abusive, report anyway and let admin make the judgement. Rant over!
