Cam problems

Apologies for the lack of technological awareness.
Up until the last few weeks, my cam has worked fine on SH, but recently, regrettably, it isn't. It seems to work for other sites/uses but refuses to allow me click on 'allow' when I try to get the camera up. Any ideas?

We've had the same problem - Google Chrome & Flash crashes every time I try the cam but IE9 seems fine.

we cant get our cam to work it was fine a couple of weeks ago any suggestions please xx

I'm running FIREFOX on Windows 7 all is fine.
Periodically I clear all history cache etc but I've also set that in my browser options on exit.
If you use MSN or messenger for camming this sometimes prevents cams to work, re-boot having used either prior to camming on here.

Hi. I'm using firefox on Ubuntu (linux operating system). My web cam works everywhere else but not here. Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Update from last post. My cam works for recording a video, just not in the chat rooms. As for adobe, i can play videos and watch videos. I have allowed it access in the adobe settings and still i cannot use it in chat rooms. Any help please.

Do you have the latest version of Flash Player for Linux installed?

Is the cam & driver installed properly - check the 'settings' > camera is correctly set.
Check the 'Global Settings' and add as a 'trusted location'
Try launching the Chatroom in debug mode - link under the main Chat logon box.
Have you raised a 'Support Ticket'?
