CANT GET INTO CHAT ROOMS - AOL user?

that should have read 90,000....yes........NINETY thousand ! ( having a senior moment lol )
hell of a lot of unhappy customers,but unless people complain to aohell they will never do anything about it,so get mailing them and complain

16:44:39 Adarsh Shukla It is really unfortunate as you wish to move your Broadband Provider from AOL. However, for MAC code , you need to contact our Member services on and they will be able to assist you with the same. I am afraid, we at Live Help do not have access to that area.

i have rang aol and mailed them and they just told me they have no problems there end and it must be down to sh it was ok friday nite but now i cant get in can anyone help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
tonylisa read the convo from aol up above hun they admit its thier fault
problem definitely sits with aol, i'm talking to non-aol friends on msn and they have no problems getting into SH chat. I just don't know why people feel they have to reinvent the wheel, it all worked reasonably well before they started meddling ffs
Tommorrow i shall cancel the direct debit and sign up with another ISP-sorted!

i know wot you all saying but i just came off phone with then and they just sed nothing wrong there end so looks like i signing off aol and going with some one else
well I have mailed them, if its not fixed by the morning, I'll be voting with my feet, is the mac code a problem? I'll just say i'm a new internet user!
Good old Hey-Ho-Hell. Some things never change. Same old telephone / live help online tech support responses:

Sadly, this is the usual response that the inadequate AOL live help tech support team are obliged to give for any (often simple) problems that customers are facing that they cannot resolve.
For years, this has generally been the case and probably always will be. A friend of mine worked for their tech-help support section. Needless to say, he left due to the dept having no formal structural guidelines in place.
I myself once rang them asking for help with my connectivity problems and as a shining example of their professionalism and understanding of my question, the telephone operative asked how they could help me with my love life today. . Sadly, I didn't have the time to spend all day chatting...... Lol
Fingers crossed for all Hey-Ho-Hell members' current situation.

So as you can see this may take a lot longer to rectify that they are admitting too.
Sadly for me I have already signed up for a further 18 months and to get out of it now would cost me £180.
Guess I aint much option to try and ride this out unless anyone else has any more suggestions
AOhelL have just admitted then denied there bein a problem their end on their help line lol
gotta say the best part of the conversation was when the rep tried accessing SH chat from his end lmao i had 2 tell him its a pay site lol.
so after 30 mins talking to aol india their answer to the problem was 2 submit a ticket for me after spouting names of at least half a dozen sites that are currently inaccessible through them banghead
come 5 pm 2morrow if its not fixed i'm gonna be having words with AOhelL live "help" :twisted:
you could always ask for your mac code then cancel your direct debit lol lol

Its not all AOL users though as there are some on SH, so why some and not others? please dont all shout at me at once, I'm just asking

Joking apart I think it is pretty apparent that there are many people who have had / are having what cannot be described as a 'Customer Delight' experience with AOL.
We shall be moving provider as soon as I get my cute arse in gear!
In the meantime..... any one fancy a shag????
Of course if we were in the rooms we would be more suttle, using our charm, wit and perspecacity to woo you into bed. But as we don't have the chance to use our obviously talents a more direct approach seems appropriate.

After 3 days of no chatrooms and lots of phone calls to AOL. They have the cheek to send me a customer survey form and to rate their performance.
Told them it was crap and will be moving to another provider
