It went back up just after lunch today, we had to change a file and since the file change we have had reports that some people can't get into chat 1.
For those that can't get in its down to the older version of the file being cached, closing everything and making sure that all cache's are cleared, together with deletion of temporary internet files has fixed it for most people so far.

Can I have that translated to thick language?
I've been trying to get in there for ages :-(
In IE7;
Tools > Internet Options
Browsing History > Delete
Temporary Internet Files > Delete Files
AOL users may have other cache's but as I don't have an AOL account here I can't offer any guidance on that this evening.
I have been trying all afternoon and night to get into chat server 1,still no good!!
I'm on AOL and I still can't get in so if anyone could give me some advise on how to clear cache it would be much appreciated x

Did you close the chatroom before you did all of that? because everthing needs to be purged in order to update these files.
On entering chat full no cache headers are on every page, which means that newer versions of code should always load, but its blatently obvious that certain browsers and isp's aren't taking notice of no cache, we will have to see if there's a better way of forcing these changes in the morning, in the meantime the other chat servers are there, but if you get time it might be worth a snotagramme to AOL as I think the query caching may have gone to far.
I am on AOL, and cannot get into chat, I can access the site and teh forum setc but as soon as I ask selct the chat room opption it tells me web page not found etc
I can enter Via IE but not AOL, I ahve tried clearing cookies etc but still nothing, jsut keeps advising me webpage cannot be found.
Any Ideas?
AOL are serving up an older version of the page, we also put a rediect in to stop this happening but AOL managed to find away to get around that and not serve up the latest version.
This is a version of the link from the existing page
This link changes in every reload so that if we make any changes to the chatroom cached versions of the app won't get used.
If you can find a way to get AOL to serve the latest version of the page then the issue will go away, in the meantime if you are able to view the source would you pm me a copy as I'd be intersted to see what they are serving up to you, just in case there's another way to put in a fix.
