Is anyone else having problems getting in to the Pool, been trying around 15/20 minutes now.

There would appear to be a problem globally - people can't get  into rooms and/or changing rooms.  The problem has been reported.

Can't view cams anymore as all i get is a small black dot once i connect to cam, any ideas how to solve this

Is it possible to use the selfie camera on a phone to chat on cam here?  We logged into SH in the normal way via Chrome and getting the phone's main front facing camera working in chat was easy but we can't find a way to select/use the selfie camera. No point raising a support ticket if it's not possible.

 Depending on hardware and operating system, it should be possible in most cases- often you need to select the "preferred camera" in the chatroom settings menu of the site once you're in the chatroom too.

Hi and thanks for the reply. Unlike when view the site via a PC we can't find any camera settings at all. On the PC we can select whether to use the built in camera or our USB camera but not on the phone. It's an Android 10 phone and using chrome.

 Given this, I'd raise a ticket with the support team to see if they can assist.

Just a belated update. For some reason the first time we tried the camera settings option wasn't visible on our mobile phone but admin subsequently confirmed that the option is available so we tried again and it worked.

Hi Guys, Safari works well, but Mozilla will not do the cams. You will probably have to look at your permissions too

Hi all, I am posting here as I am sure you clever guys will be able to help me. Two problems probably both simple but eluding me at present. 1. How do you create a new post from scratch in Forum. 2. When opening a Message, how do you look at the senders profile? I used to do this by clicking on the name at top of screen but this is no longer working. All your assistance appreciated. Thanks.

To view the sender's profile you need to open the message and then click on the sender's name which should become underlined as soon as your cursor hovers over it. If that doesn't happen it would indeed appear to be broken but it's working for us right now. As for forum posts, when you enter into one of the forums its title and list of topics will appear with a large clickable "create a new topic" button between the two. We do however only ever use a laptop for accessing this site and have no idea how it appears on mobile phones etc.
