Is anyone else having problems, im unable to get into the chatroom. I click on chatroom it doesn't load at all, the same happens to my adverts.
And when I click photo ads its gives me a message that im not connected or problem with server....I can access all other sites as normal.
IS THE SERVER DOWN ?

From other reports that we have received, I think that this is only happening for AOL users.

Your ISP is basically the company that provides your internet. This stands for Internet Service Provider.

The IP has been assigned by AOL - I'm currently in contact with some other members experiencing the same problems. The similarity so far is that all of the reports have come from AOL users.
I'll post more info once I can confirm the problem.

So it's not just me then, I am also on AOL and having same problems.

We have actually now set up an AOL machine in the office to see whether we could replicate this problem.
To be honest I managed to log straight onto the site without any problems at all and I was able to access all areas of the site.
I did manage to speak to another user who was extremely helpful - it was found that when she used the AOL Browser she did have problems accessing the chat room and mailbox. I asked her to leave the AOL browser open and try using Internet Explorer. She immediately was able to log into the site and use the features that she could not using AOL browser.
I therefore recommend every user who is having the same problems to use Internet Explorer. This program will be installed on your computer and it can be found via the Start Menu. Please remember to leave your AOL browser open and then open IE and use this to access Swinging Heaven.
This is a temporary solution until we found out what is going on.

: its the most useless bit of commercial software I have come across its made to be difficult to use so you have to phone their pay help line 
Say what you will, I've been on AOL for eons and I wouldn't change it for the world. Certainly not after reading all the cack on here about Tiscali, as well.
I don't have any major probs with the site. When i do, I ask about and it seems most people (not all aol users) are having the same probs so not everything is down to the ISP.
Oh - and I've not used the phone helpline for aaaages and that was only to change my bank details.
I'd sooner stick with aol than BT, Tiscali, Pipex or NTL/Virgin Media. My downloads aren't limited nor am I affected by traffic shaping. If i have to use IE just to access one site then so be it. It's hardly a hardship.

I agree with Marya, taking a swipe at AOL serves no purpose here. I too have been with AOL for many years and have phoned the helpline maybe 3 times. I have been a SH member for several years and had no problems with access to any part of the site until now.
