Hopefully a Mod will pick this up and transport it to the Chatroom Lounge thread which is a more appropriate place to ask these questions.
"No Directing" means that if someone is on cam and you are viewing, you aren't allowed to ask, coaxe, pursuade (etc) them into doing specific actions for you - just simply enjoy the show.
There is no specific etiquette, but IMHO it's good to see you ask. Just join in the banter, get to know people, don't whisper anyone (a private conversation) without asking first and getting a "yes" from them, and keep a generally positive attitude towards it.

Can I suggest you take 20 minutes to read the chatroom rules and also the guides written here in the forums as regards new people on site or starting out with SH. They really are quite concise well worth the investment in your time. With luck we might even catch you in chat if so then be sure and say hi! :smile:
