Chatrooms seen to be kicking everyone out and seems like server 1 is only server work. Have reported this. Please do not start a new thread, dont want the mods have to merge or lock threads saves them loads of time, thanks everyone

Well not many are saying they cant get in at the moment - so many must be hanging on in their!!

I posted a thread yesterday regarding the chat room freezing (but NOT kicking me out ) and was redirected to this thread by Sgt Bilko.
Not sure why that was, as my problem is entirely different to the ones stated in this thread lol, but, seeing as I was redirected here anyway, here's the original thread I posted:
Dunno if anyone's having a similar experience or whether any 'techies' know of any reason why this may be happening but :-
For months now, every time I log into any chat rooms on here, after a few minutes of being in the room, everything freezes, which in turn makes my mouse and all other running programs freeze up also.
Things resume back to normal after about a minute or so but then it happens repeatedly until I log out and log back on....then it just keeps happening.
I'm sure it's not a technical hitch with this site as I've not come across anyone else having the same problem and I'm sure it's most definitely something to do with my PC but it's odd that it only ever happens when I'm in a swinging heaven chat room yet not when I'm on any other sites / chatrooms at all.
I have the latest Flash installed and have uninstalled and reinstalled it many times but still it keeps doing the same thing.
Does anyone have any (sensible) ideas as to why this may be occuring? It's really getting on my nerves now!

The SH chatroom facility is a very resource hungry system. Here, we have modern pc's running Windows XP that struggle to run the chatroom, and older PC's with Windows 2000 that run it with ease. So your problem could be o/s related.
Also we know from historical threads that certain isp's like to restrict access to the ports used by the chatroom software at peak times. You havn't mentioned who you use?
There is also the comment I've seen "I've got nothing else running". Well ok, I've got my email package, MSN, , I'm burning cd's, listening to boom boom fm online and oh yes, my mother is upstairs and connect to the internet via my computer so she can play bingo all night....
Seriously, there could be something on your computer that is higher up the priority for processor time.Hope the above helps.

Most of the time, I don't have anything else running lol, but on the occasions when I do, they all freeze as well once I enter the chat room (or at least once Ive been in a while).
The main mystery is why this only EVER happens when I am in a Swinging Heaven chat room and absolutely nowhere else whatsoever.

ive had massive probs for weeks with the chatrooms and i kept saying the same it was only this site that was causing me trouble my isp is virgin lol and after doing all the checks ive been told to do via this site i contacted virgin its taken them 12 days ffs to sort it but the problem has been my isp and not the site and its now been sorted so i aint 10 mins behind everybody else now lol

Thanks Babe for teling us it was't the site and I am glad that the site could help with eventually getting Virgin to fix your problem.
Most of the problems that people have with disconnection is down to their ISP or the software they are using and not the site otherwise everyone would be having the same problems cos we are all on the same site

Oooooooo Im virgin as well - what did you say to them? As I have similar problems (was ok till virgin took over). I always put it down to my dial up
