Connection Problems

Hi guys
I've been lucky enough never to have had any problems with connection until about 4 days ago!
Since then i am constantly getting disconnected from chat and its getting really frustrating. In the past half an hour i have been disconnected 6 times!
I'm using internet explorer, have windows 7, provider is talk talk....just i seem to get asked these questions when asking for help so thought i'd say now lol!
I've cleared temp files etc and rebooted my router...so think it must be a site issue?
If anyone can give me any advice i'd be really grateful as it's driving me nuts and its not good for my health that i can't get onto sh chatrooms lol!!!

Hi Ali

Sorry to hear its not loading properly, one last thing, have you checked you have the lastest version of flashplayer downloaded?
Failing that you can raise a support ticket here where admin will look into the issue for you and guide you through sorting the problem http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/support-tickets/new-ticket.html

Flashplayer - will do an automatic check for you and also advise if a later version available to download
(Just remember to un-tick the "Google Toolbar" option, as this can cause problems with Internet Explorer)

i use google chrome and that automatically checks for flash updates .. just an idea for future knowledge

Thanks for that link! Yes i have the latest version and don't have the google toolbar checked....looks like i'm doomed!!
What to check next!

Sara,
later versions of Flash player auto check themselves for updates irrespective of Browser being used, so 'cures' the problem for most people

I'm now losing connection every other minute!!! It's beyond a joke now!
I have emailed tech to see if they can come up with something....have spoke to a few people with the same problem so know now its not just me.
What am i going to do with no SH chat!!!??? Argh!!!! xxxx

This repeat and sudden disconnect was happening to me, every 5 to 10 mins over the last 2 days. Today I was on windows explorer 9 64bit which has flash player issues if you go to the adobe site.
'Flash Player 10.1 is not currently available for Internet Explorer 9 (64-bit) Beta'
I've used exp9-64bit for months without problems. Last night was having the same disconnect issues using Safari too so not unique to windows explorer..
Anyway upon using Chrome it's not disconnected me for 30 mins or more now, Bingo.
