Hi, just realised today that if I go in a room and the font is all black, I don't even read the convo, I search for another room.
However, if the room is alight with a variety of colours, I read back the convo and join in, even if it is about cookery, cars, football and DIY and many other non sex related items I have little interest in.
Have I got the opposite of colour blindness?
Attracted by all that is bright and cheerful!
Just wondered if I am alone in this or do others do it, even inadvertently!!
We always use a certain colour when we are in the chatroom (unless someone else is always using it) regardless of whether it is one or both of us.
One thing we have noticed is that if we leave the default black on we get very few people bother to chat to us. So perhaps your not the only one that has a blind spot for the black font colour.
I hadn't given this any thought until now, but I have to admit there's some truth to it. With me I think it's a case of being able to follow the conversations of specific people based on their colour, and all the plain black tends to blend into one. Mind you, I'm easily confused when more than one person uses the same colour.

Easily confused??? that would be your age which combined with you being a man (checks your shorts to make sure) and well men don't multitask very well either now do they.
ps: if you had to squint at the word confuzed, yellow on a pastel color back ground, then your eyes are defo old ..*hands you some varifocals*
smackbottom
:lol2:
By the way, once you'd put your varifocals on did you notice the Z in confused (the yellow one) as opposed to to the english version S ....was just checking to see if that trevpedantaunance was paying attention *smiling*
and will you just quit it with all that spanking Cubes, you know it does for/to me .
PS: I bet you had to use mouseover and scroll along the yellow confuzed didnt you?
I KNEW IT!
I was paying attention, sorry if being true to my own language offends you.

I'll ignore that *smiling*
Why bait me then ignore me? Seems like attention seeking.
It must be a full moon tonight, it's all going on.
Trev,
damn that predictive text, TooTs usually needs a 'slave'

No, you are not alone. A phenomenon I have observed for a very long time. I even advise friendly newcomers to adopt a coloured font to facilitate the chat process. I am sure somebody somewhere is working up a doctoral thesis on it.
