In the chatrooms lol

Ive been visiting the chatrooms ever since we joined and im yet to find a place that I call home.
Theres many chatroom's eg Mids, tv's, Kent,bi-sexual, but either I dont fall into that category (and feel like a fake going in there) or dont live in or around those area's ( and still feel like a fake going in there) :doh:
So now, I mostly stick to the main, jacuzzi, beach bar areas.
Have you found a home in the chatroom's?
In your regular room, are people welcomed that are not from the area/fetish/room type named.

i usually reside in the north east room which gets alot of flack for being "clique" but think its just the same as any other room in the respect that the regulars all know each other and well chat which is kinda whats meant to happen and some newbies/non regulars of the room seem to take offence
and when some one comes in saying "meet in london now" well it leaves it open to take the pee a little if only for the comedy value

mids room for me....and yes its like a second home. Think you will find people friendly enough if you come in and say hello..and not bothered about where you come from really..so long as you willing to have a lugh and enjoy the banter.

South Wales for me. I'm now part of the furniture biggrin

. It's a friendly room and I know I can sit in there and not get too much hasle. I think newcomers are made to feel welcome so long as they're polite and join in the banter.

Is there a regular London room?
I havent spotted one, but then again, I don't very often venture into chat...
being a bit of a forumite..FORUM Chat seems the place really... though not a regularly opened room.

What am I doing wrong today? I could've sworn I replied to this thread aaaaages ago!
Oh well, it went summat like this ....
regular in the NorthEast room ... blah blah ... like to wander about to other regional rooms where i know a few people ... blah blha yadda yadda ... often enjoy main rooms - Jacuzzi/Pool/Beach cos you get a nice mix of people ... avoid fetish/ws/bdsm rooms cos they scare me. :shock:

Okay....For me it is more a case of where do i not poke my face!!!! lol
North East/North west/Scots/Mids/BBW/Black-white
I normally go around rooms.. ave a perv and a chat then go on my merry way.......
I think there are a few rooms I have been in where i haven't felt i was welcome..... most of those are the southern rooms actually....maybe I'll give em another go....

I just go where I don't get kicked out of biggrin

Being an ops I have to visit all the rooms and have gotten to "know" quite a few ppl along the way.
Some rooms I get a hello woo and others I get feck all but heh thats life. rolleyes

Cos I live in Scotland tho, when I'm not opping I tend to be in the Scots room altho I do go into the NE room cos they have basically the same sense of humour as us Scots (weird).
The Scots room is accused on a regular basis of being a "clique" too but then again most of the regulars are good friends with each other now and meet up socially not just to swing,so we tend to stick up for each other.
so please excuse us if it seems "clique"

I always used the forum chat room......was always my favourite room!!! smile

:) I never ventured elsewhere. Wonder were peenut is?? Miss his *Shoe Alerts* when Pk or Goosey came in :lol2: :lol2: Those were the good ole days!!
I go in BDSM, Wales, Bristol, Mids etc etc I do have a favourite though and tend to stick to that most of the time. Have made some excellent caring friends.... kiss

ive tried to spend time in chat, ive really tried in the NW and the yorkshire rooms.....ive never quite felt part of it though, i tend to be quite straight talking and i answer whispers in the main room, i also tell people that im not interested when they ask...its called honesty....its often mistaken for being rude i think?
in my eyes, telling a 40yr old man from plymouth (for example only!) that im not interested in him because hes too old and too far away when its clear in my profile that he doesnt fit what im after....thats not rude is it?
also, ive been around quite some time and there are couples i see in chat that i may have chatted to in the past but decided not to meet for whatever reason, im convinced they think im a fake and have told other people that i am, so no one talks to me!

For us it is obviously the Kent room. Flower has a point with the idiots who sometimes come in there, but if you want to direct or whisper, when it clearly states no to either of them in the room title, then you get what you ask boot!!
Also Woo does come into the Kent room, but we tend to ignore him and he goes away! hee hee..... ya know we all love ya Woo.

What's a chatroom? bolt

Obviously visit all of them, but my favourite's are NE, S Wales and Forum when open. I don't find any of them cliquey I often think the cliquey thing is a problem in peoples outlooks and views rather than a problem with the room itself.

I seem to end up mainly in the BBW chat room, although I flit around and dwell in others, even the ones which I'm not near geographically.
Of course there are people in rooms who get to know each other well, and that can make others feel rather out of it, but the other side of that coin is that if any regular or semi-regular is being abused by some idiot, the other regulars rally round and stick up for them. Such solidarity can be heartwarming ...no, really - we're a decent bunch overall.

I'd have to say my most frequented rooms are the Surrey room, Mids, BDSM (us subs aren't scary, promise Shrekie ;-)), and BBW....
Of course I stick my nose around in the others too tho lol

I have tonight & was made to feel welcome in the Northeast room. though must say I wasn't unwelcome in the pool or the jacuzzi either.
But I will definately be rejoining the N/east room again.

We have a lot of London folk come into the Surrey room as it's often called Surrey & Surrounds. There are a few regulars who know each other well in there, as there are often Surrey socials but I don't feel it's cliquey at all and anyone who is polite and chats in main chat will be more than welcomed.
I like Forum chat too but haven't seen it much recently when I'm not (not that often)
