There's loads of reviews out there but I figured it was best to get the answer from the horses mouth so to speak. Logitech Sphere seems to get my vote at the moment. Missus is urging me so she can join in the cam fun!
I have no idea, I've had mine that long they don't even make it any more lol
Welcome to the forums biggrin

I don't know about webcams but I havejust deleted your other two identical threads with identical posts in. Once is more than enough!
ooh I like the user name lol
Jags,
I'm really really shocked by that. I hadn't even realised I'd posted about this previously. It's time to pay attention to missus who says I'm losing it too much. Sorry, but real thks for the heads up!.

Jags, just had a thought, were my submits all around the same time? i.e. did I feck up the 'Submit' Or did I post on separate occasions ...making me seriously messed up!?
Logitech's a very good make biggrin
Are you wanting one with a built in mic as well confused:
if this is any help I have been using the Playstation 2 eye toy as a cam and its a cracking picture!!
biggrin :D :D
thanks all. Am gonna go for the Logitech Sphere. See you on cam soon!!!
Hiya
We use an eyetoy, u got to download some drivers but we can show u where.
u can get an eyetoy with a game for £20, and then sell the game on ebay for £5-£10
Hope this helps

Always look for one that has a CCD device and not a CMOS one. CCDs work at much lower light levels (I & many others use them in astronomy) and provide a better quality image & higher resolution. They are more expensive but well worth it. Philips Toucam Pro II (what I use), Philips SPC900NC (latest "version" of Toucam Pro II), Logitech do some also but have not used theirs. if you have a few bob, the Apple iSight also has auto-focus but does require a FireWire IEEE1394 connection.
Lighting makes a lot of difference; the better the lighting, the better the image... as you probably well know! ;) So don't go & get a Homebase pack of 2 webcams for unless you want to be dark, fuzzy & blocky biggrin
Forgot to mention... the Philips ones have a built-in microphone, not sure about the others.
