since the site changed the servers for the chat room a few weeks ago (yes i know they been changed back) im having a nightmare with the chatrooms, half of the time im 5 mins behind whats been said or i just seem to freeze all together and the room stops its getting to the point i just give up. is anybody else having this problem or is it just me as usual?

i think you may have just stumbled across a possible answer.
Some ISP's (internet service providers) like to use a fair useage policy and so when their connections get busy (lots of their paying customers use t'interweb, and evenings is prime time they have a habit of closing ports, therefore kicking you out of chat. That would explain, why every other site you use, like "deliah smith's how to fry eggs", (other good sites are available) work fine 24/7.
I know there have been previous threads in here when people are adamant that there is nothing wrong with their computer / internet connection, but once it was identified, loads of people said that it was happening to them and they decided to move ISP's.
