IE 7 Fixed

For all of you others who installed internet explorer 7 and had difficulties, the full release is now available and seems to work with SH like a charm.

I told him Sh members werevery dissapointed in his latest product as it was incompatable with their favourite site

(IE7) It does indeed work perfectly - with the excpetion of trying to open a profile! (Old Chatroom!)
When you open a new profile (someone elses... Havvin' a perve.. biggrin

), it opens up the profile in the same window the chatroom is in - thus ejecting you from the room.
When you click back, it tells you to do the wait 5 minutes before you get to go back in etc...
Hmmm. How irratating! Nevermind...

Yes, its called using Firefox rather then IE :thumbup:

dont know which version you've got (maybe the beta) but ive got the newest release and theyve fixed that bug!

Not using IE I cant comment on its compatibility but judging by the comments in here and other threads it does seem that at least early versions of IE7 dont work too well here :-(
Firefox is always an option that could work well.....Least of all as its free :thumbup:
if only to use with this particular site........Although I am sure there are many other sites it doesnt work with as well...

Hi we are new to this site, just looking around and seen this post. I wish btinternet could sort out there ie7 problems, they have had plenty of time. But the more we look at the site the beter it get's. K & A

IE7 is nothing to do with BT - it's a Microsoft product.

New version of Firefox out today aswell,
Vers 2.0
Works very well with SH too.
IMHO far better than any Microsoft tat.

wondered why my IE7 wouldnt show profiles for sum reason, but now working :D

We are using Vista and the profile problem still exists on IE7!
Any suggestions?

Yes try Firefox:

It's the only browser I use and not had a problem with it ;)
