iPad and the chatroom

Does anyone know how to get an iPad to work in the chatroom? We can see other folks cams and post fine, but whenever we turn on our cam it lasts for about 20 seconds then just goes off. We can use the webcam n our PC fine but the office is not the sexiest place for saucy happenings!

We have issues with cams on all Apple devices

Just tested on another well known swingers’ site. Our iPad worked just fine there…

If you raise a ticket you’ll get the help. From when it happened to me you have to go to advance settings and turn something off (sorry can’t find the message to give a proper answer) but that will solve it

Found the email try this

1. Navigate to: Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental Features
 
2. Set "NSURLSession WebSocket" to OFF and restart Safari (or the phone/tablet). This seems to fix the issue for now at least.

I just checked and can see I replied to your ticket the day after you sent it. Sometimes replies can end up in your spam/junk folder at the whim of your mail provider. In short, the advice I gave is the same as NaughtyKent71 gave you here.

The thing is, every time you do an iOS update Apple pushes the experimental features back to your device so you may have to go through the steps again. There is a developers community ticket open with Apple covering this, so it's not just SH that's seeing the issue, but as we're using current technology it may be why some other sites aren't suffering.
