Over the last few days, I have tried to get into chatroom 1, it is full all the time approx 24hrs a peeps keeping this select to keep everyone else off, or I am I a conspiracy theorist.

When logging on we usually get directed to 3. We have found the same prob when trying to go directly from 3 to 1 but if we go first from 3 to 2 and then to 1 it usually works. if not we try again and again and eventually get in! Hope this helps "Happy new year"!
There was an earlier thread on this which Admin answered. Somthing to do with the logic of 1.5 * users or similar in one server to another for load balancing.
I found sometimes if in server 1 and you reselect server 1 it tells you the room is full (despite already being in it!).
Interesting stuff... keeps us all amused during the xmas break!

This has been my experience as well - if you click and try chat1 a dozen times in rapid succession it's always worked for me by about the 12th time. And often by the third or fourth time.

You can choose to show as being off line, they could possibly be doing that
It will always tell you the last time a member logged on but not if they are still online.
I tend to show as off line because if I am chatting in the chatroom or in the Mods area for a while, I would not see any pms come in and I would hate to look like I was being rude by ignoring them. Others have their own reasons

The rooms showing o occupants are ghost rooms and not actually there, if you get my meaning :lol2:
If you log on to another server and go back to server one, you should in theory bring up a list of the rooms which are actually there.
If not, you'll just have to chose from the rooms on servers two and three and join one of those - or you could always open your own of course if none take your fancy ;-)
Server one has been having some blimps again since yesterday. Admin are aware and working on it.

Retirement is on its way for that crappy bit of hardware :twisted: new and better servers are now installed in our rack, should be configured and in place early next week
at the beginning of this thread there were some replies from mods about why and what to do, not trying to be funny here i have not read them and i wont, i know my wat round most computers but there will always someone better than me.

UKwineman... I am not trying to belittle you or anything but we were adament that it was nothing to do with our computers/internet connection when we had a problem.
After doing several tests for admin it turned out to be a problem our end... So please dont assume that your end is okay because it may not be
I know all about the fustrations though... My base unit has several dents from being thrown up the garden :lol2:

We had a few problems, ev1servers turned off chat 3 again !!! and I am talking to our account manager about it 
They were slow to respond to our support ticket, while chat 3 was out of action everyone hit chat 1/2, when 3 came up 1 & 2 were under such a high load that they needed to be restarted.
Not a nice evening for anyone, we will try to get 1/2/3 onto the new servers in the next few days.
