Would have to say if its the same person ignoring the warnings your firts few warnings should be enough. If that fails, come and find an op lol and we will sort out
If they return after being kicked, I'd warn them again. If the behaviour continues you can keep kicking I reckon or ignore them.
If there's no one online to deal with it, I'd put in a complaint anyway 'cos I'm a bitch like that. cool

If they carry on breaking the rules, yes feel free to kick them again. I will comment though that some room hosts take it that once a person has been kicked, then coming back into the same chatroom is an offence and they can be kicked again just for breathing. - IMHO people should be allowed to return with a clean slate.
Their reaction on returning to the room gives you a clue as to their intent. Apology?, Repeat of Offence? or a torrent of abuse?
Personally, I reserve the special treatment of instant removal from the chatroom on entry only to people who have committed a serious breach of site rules or who have been banned for their previous actions.
Ian
Peoples interpretations of the " kicking", vary greatly. As a room host from time to time, it is my job to make sure that people abide by the rules, and to treat everyone with respect, whether on cam or not.
If people whisper without asking and not getting a positive response first, then I warn them. If they do it again then I will kick them. It is the same if someone is abusive, one warning then kicked. Some people may well give them many warnings, but I feel that one should be enough. If they return to the room, then I continue to kick. The original first warning should be enough. I do not believe that if they come back, they are entitled to a clean slate.
It seems that some op's would agree with this, and others don't. Can someone clarify if one warning is enought to kick somebody from the room, as there does seem to be a bone of contention here!!

See above -I thought Ian just did.
To me, one warning is enough to kick them for that offence but if they return, as Ian said, it's not really acceptable to keep kicking them UNLESS they continue to offend.
So even if someone has been really offensive, you have to let them back in the room? Whats the point in kicking anyone for anything then, if they can just come straight back in? Am more confused now, than I was before.

No!
The question was refering to persistent whisperers and directors, not people being really offensive.

Ian is correct. Abusing another member is a serious breach of site rules. Whispering or directing is a much lesser "crime".
Hope that helps!!
confused :? :? lol
You know me Flower..like to go off in a tangent sometimes!! lol
It all makes good sense to me. I hate kicking and only use it if really really necessary.
