magazine? we need decent chatrooms first

In the same way that in a football game all 11 players can't be on the ball at the same time, not all of us are working on the magazine.
Work on the new chatroom has never stopped, its getting there, we even had some tests running this week with about 400 people in ther on an old server.
Agreed though, its a taken a lot longer than we expected.
I'm moving this into the chatroom lounge as its a more relevant place.

as a paying member i find it sad that i am expected to pay extra to have such features as the use of 2 cams to view when the new rooms are up and running, and also that suggestions have not been implimented such as being able to tell who is watching you.

What do you mean?? What did you expect???? I never use the chatrooms so don't see it as a priority for me at all - you do. Each to their own I said - think I am STILL allowed to voice my own opinion.
relitivly new user to this site and found great bunch of peeps in nw room but got side tracked to new chat server other nite all the other people in chat where complaining about it is it that people dont like change ? yep theres bugs on it but it new , and got to be tested how many cars they smash b4 you get to buy one . having said that if we are getting new chat server can we be asked to try it say for one night then give constuctive feed back ???

It is often found as you log in to the chatrooms, I think I have been in there at least 5 to 6 different times.
i actually ask .....do we really need or want Beta chat ?? the existing chat rooms are great as far as i'm concerned..apart from when beta chat is launched..then the other servers especially server three seems to fall apart. Maybe i'm fighting change....but maybe answer is if it ain't broke..then why fix it.
Maybe mite even ne better to have a 4th server, area to spread the load a little

Knowing how much money has been spent on the new chatrooms its gonna take a while to recoup the costs let alone turn a profit so that argument doesnt hold much water with me....

I wouldnt have thought they would be running at a loss or no profit at all, I thought since the take over they are in it to make money and surely any business wouldnt keep throwing money at something like that
