, desktop chat comes back with "incorrect username or password", and the site chat throws up "an error occurred - application error". Oh, and the photo server looks like it's gone tits up again. How very useful! Guess this nightowl will just have to go see what fabswingers have to offer...

Suspect you might have to raise the Support Ticket, including version of Windows info, that you are on IE 8, etc. info and the "Please wait while we connect you to the chat service...Authenticating..." error message.

IE8 > Tools > compatability view settings = off
Restart IE8,
log back on to the site ,
Chatroom ,
you should now see the logon for the new Chatroom.
