new chat room

Hi Elliott
I am unable to connect to the new chat room keeps on saying please wait while we connect you but that is all it does, i think i have installed the desktop launch (old version) how would i go about uninstalling that, I use windows xp
I also have a laptop but the chat room works fine on that, this is windows vista

Brian,
While you wait for the official response, try Launching Desktop Chat and it should check to see if you have the latest and, if not, will save and install the new one "over" the old one.
Well that is what it did during beta testing.

Hi Brian,
If you go to Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs, you can un-install the old Beta Desktop Chat from here.
Once done, try the Desktop Chat again by installing it from the Chatroom page. Let me know how you get on, if that's any better, then we can see why your browser version isn't working.
