opening profile throws me out of chatroom

recently, whenever i look at a profile of a chatter when in a room, it opens in same window rather than a new one. when i close the profile i close the chatroom and cannot get back in for 5 minutes. why isnt the profile opening in another window as it used to????

er not sure what browser your using but in tools>>>>>>>>>>options>>>>>>> there should be a place to choose where links open as in a new window or the same one or if you've got tabbed browsing in a new tab. Make sure the "open link in same window" is NOT selected biggrin

If your useing IE then i think the its in Tool then internet options then advance and its something like reuse windows for opening short cuts.

You didn't upgrade to internet explorer 7 did you?

errr yes, ie7 is the culprit, back to firefox and all is well

Yep same problems here. I've just got round it all by installing Mozilla Firefox & using that for this site or any where I was having problems.
