I would like to make a public apology as well as my private mail to Lassy09.
Whilst in the chatroom tuesday evening I was spilling out the banter without realising it was being taken very personally. My comments certainly wern't intended as any form of insult but were taken that way & I can now see how they could be construde as such and apologise for any distress caused by my careless banter.

I also took Minx’s comments in the lighthearted way I believe they were intended, and may have compounded the problem by adding my own comments. I too apologise if I caused any offence as none was intended.
Typing in a chatroom is different to talking face-to-face or on the phone because of the lack of other clues (e.g. body language, visual, intonation) for how something is intended, and I see this crop up regularly in chat on here and elsewhere.
It's good to see that you've taken the time to sort this out and I think it shows consideration and maturity. Too often people leave things to drift.
