Just like to say I like the new layout, options etc.
However quickie leave a quickie message how do i approve what is being said or is someone else doing that as this could be open to abuse.

How, am I having blonde moment.
And sorry to be a pain but I have photos in private but when i view my profile and go to pictures 2 different galleries come up and one of them is private pictures but one of the private pictures appears how do i stop that from appearing?

You can click the "My Profile" option on the right, then click the "View Profile" tab. Next to the Quickie message you should see a small x to delete it.
I just looked at your photos. I can see the public ones but nothing in your private album.

Ok thanks just must be because I am viewing my own profile.

well the quickies still appear on my profile even through i clicked the x to delete them and theres no distance on profiles so dont have a clue how far away people are and unless they have town box selected havent a clue where they are from as it just comes up with uk.
The quickie thingy is being looked at, and some other people have also spotted the missing location thing. Might be worth you popping over to the Cafe and checking the status of things here ;-)

You can delete your messages from your own profile.
I know you can delete comments but there are comments being made that take away our privacy... not on mine i add lol but freinds have been upset by things written. While they have deletedit, it had already been viewed by people they didnt want to see.
Cant this feature be like on other sites where we have to verify anything that goes on our profiles?

I'm sorry your friends are upset. Admin are trying to sort out the issue - once sorted out all comments are for approval by the account holder.
In the meantime, quickies should be able to be deleted by the account holder or the person who left the message. If your friends cannot do this - please ask them to pm Admin and explain, I'm sure they will delete them asap.
The quickie messages isn't meant to be for verification purposes at all. I know some members have been quite indiscreet with them ... Grrrrrr :mad: and if someone did that on my profile I would certainly let them know what I think.

this is the first informative response that i have seen regarding peoples concerns about quickies, thank you anais.
i do wonder why it wasnt said earlier on on the main glitches thread or in the threads that were locked...it might have saved some animosity.
