recommend me a webcam?

im wanting to get involved in chat but use either an iPad or a mac mini, so I'm looking for a decent webcam.
are the £5-£10 ebay 'HD' ones ok? or should i pay a bit more for a decent brand?
any recommendations?

Hi . I bought a cheap value T***o one and it was rubbish, but then bought their £10 one and it was fine. Now have a logitech one and its very good. Think it mayve been £20 ?

We've had a few webcams and out of all of them the Logitech C270 is the best we have used and around the 25 quid mark you can't go wrong IMHO. A fraction of the price of their top end models and loads better quality.
It even makes me look almost half human and that takes some doing.

I have been using on this site a Logitech C615. I am more than happy with the quality of the video, it has a microphone, zoom and pan features and a fixing so that it can be used with a tripod. It also has the capability to take pictures.
Maybe you can find a cheap on on ebay or Gumtree.

I've got a Logitech C920. It wasn't cheap...think it cost 50 quid in a sale. It's a good one though and the best one i've used in low light conditions.
