The use of the word ''Babe'' when talking to ladies

Forgive my rant, but is it just me who finds the use of the reference 'babe' lame and annoying in chat when males speak to women?
Do women find this acceptable?

Crash I agree with you, I do find it odd that so many use the word “Babe”, I think it is from the "Bay watch days" possibly. It is a word that I find cringe worthy but some might find it a term of endearment.

I know what you mean ..although I have been called a witch a man a tart and an escort ..lol one of the reasons i am not renewing my membership ..lol as the people who said these things are still around so why should I do a cam or put myself out there for these idiots

Hmmm - I use "hun" as a term of endearment to those on here that I chat to regularly. If anyone does take offence to this I shall avoid it in future though I'd hope it's taken in the spirit it's intended
