just thought id say i like the LEAN Chatroom. just got one problem.
There is no longer a "log Out" button, i just Closed the screen by the nice red X in the corner, but now tired to go back in but now its froze me out.
ALSO... not that i use them, how do i navigate to the Extra's Chat Server?
<EDIT> ... please dont see this as a dig. as i do prefer this knew process... cause i never liked having to switch between servers. i just thought i'd pass my observations on.

The bare with us was intentional, i did mean to put quotes around it but forgot!
As far as logout goes, you don't need to anymore, with one big chat there is no 5 minute wait, no need to logout.

hi log into new server finaly got all up but no one talking tried to whisper no replies is it a bug or no one like me

You don't need to log out any more. Just close the window down and you will be able to get straight back in when you want :thumbup:
As for the whispers, they are working in the same way, no real change. I just think last night the server was a little jumpy because a few times I whispered when I never meant to.
Give things chance to settle, trial it properly and then decide if you like it or not :thumbup:

The rooms will be having there limit lifted to 100 (capped at 120). Just give the techy guys chance to get it running smoothly :thumbup:

I dont think people should be jumping on the band wagon before its been given a fair go, I can see the arguments against it, but for me chat was much quicker, when I got frozen out I could get straight back in - there will be techinal glitches as with anything new - but some of the comments on this thread and the other one - about i dont think i will be here for long are silly, in my opinion.

I really can't see what all the fuss is about tbh. When the team were working on the new "improved" version of chat which was in beta for such a long time, many complained about it saying they preferred the existing format.
The SH team have obviously listened and kept the same format as before, just combining the rooms in to one big swinging hotel as new technologies/facilities have become available.
Poor old Elliot, he tries very hard but it just goes to prove, you can please some of the people some of the time but some swingers just can't be satisfied no matter how much effort is expended on them
This format has passed the test of time; whilst I'm not against change, this style is SH and nowhere else can match it. As for multiple cams, I guess the answer lies in bandwidth/reliability issues.
Every site has it's problems - even those where billions have been spent on it (HMRC, CSA, PNC come to mind) so I think the SH team have done a brilliant job to provide a simple to use and understand site for our enjoyment.
