Why is it that single guys in the chatrooms insist on trying to send whispers when our profile clearly states that we're not interested in hearing, meeting or chatting to guys ??
Is it that they're chancers just trying their luck or are they arrogant enough to think that they'll persuade us to alter our taste ?
Either way it's damn right annoying and and makes the chatrooms a bloody ordeal sometimes mad
Not all single guys do that, but the ones that do give us all a bad name. There are mitigating reasons though it's not all arrogance.
For instance I've noticed that many people don't bother to look at the profile first before contacting others, and some newcomers don't know how to. This is very common.
Having said that I have also noticed an increase in the number of rather rude and unpleasant guys who can't take no for an answer. Maybe this is one for the ops who can then ban such individuals.
Just remember there are some nice single guys out there too cool
point taken my friend ...
I guess it's the minority spoiling it for everyone as usual ...
we find ignoring their whispers usually does the trick but unfortunately they move on to the next one ...
yeah there's always a minority who spoils things. Sadly they're the ones we remember because they're so annoying.
And you're right they do end up just going to annoy someone else. I've seen such a person literally trawling the rooms constantly annoying people, even after being told off by many in the room.
Perhaps the best thing is to ignore them, like the irritating scum they are

try reporting them if you are in a room that specifically says 'no whispers'. The person whose room it is can then give them a warning and then kick them. If they persist, then report them to a chatroom Op. A few bans should cure them!!
Mal
The chatroom rules clearly states that there is no whispering until you ask the person that you intend to whisper first, and then you can whisper ONLY if you receive their permission to do so.

It doesnt matter if it says "whispering allowed" in title of room cos it cant overrule the chatroom rules.
If you are the subject of unwanted whispers then sometimes the best way to deal with them is to post the person's whispers in open chat, then the room host can take action against the offender.
If that doesnt stop them, then do as Mal says and report them to us by taking a note of the room title the server and also the time of the offence.
We will take serious action against anyone found to be making this site an unfun place to be.

Woohoo, I think he needs his arse slapping for getting it wrong. Actually, you hold him down and I will do the slapping
Back to the topic - Another thing to think about is the people who are still fairly new to the chat rooms and sometimes accidently whisper someone after 'perving' or previewing their profile (I know I have accidently done it in the past and the system doesnt always revert back to 'chat to all' after Ive perved). Sometimes, I have also been known to click on the wrong name when I went to whisper someone who has said I can. confused
So, also remember that some of us are complete numpties when it comes to chat rooms and we may just accidently whisper you redface without meaning to be rude.

If that happens then all it takes is an apoligy for the whisper cos as we all know"manners cost nothing" and they get you so far in life.
If more people showed they had good manners and respect for people rather than showing their kebab or insulting people, then they would find they get laid a lot quicker, not only on this site but in real life too.
You can whisper me anytime NWC lol wink
Woo
redface sorry Woohoo, forgot it was you I was always whispering surprisedops: Its just that when Ive been perving your profile, I forget to click off your name before I start nattering
But as always, your right, an apology is all that is needed. Good manners dont cost anything lol

Is this 'single guy' thing something that is exclusive to couples?.
As a single female all I can say is not ALL single guys here are injected with the ignoramous serum. Most of the ones I have come across are well mannered, polite and respectful.
I do hear what you are saying and it is a fact the odd one's do spoil it for the majority but I would also add, as a single female, its not just single guys who can be a pain sometimes, the married and 'with someone' guys can be a pain too.
Maybe its just a 'Man Thang' lol

Law of averages says some one will speak too them if they whisper enough people.
