Ansons bank - worth the journey?

Hi ya'll - just wondering if Ansons bank on Cannock Chase was worth the journey, or is it effectlivley closed down due to the intrest from the media?
If anyone knows other, more private areas in that location then you can pm them to me

The answer to your question is no, it is not worth the journey. anson bank is dead in the water my friend. To be honest most of the surrounding area is as well. Its a sad sad time. it is truly tommy tank. And thats me being upbeat. Sorry.

Ansons bank has been really quiet recently. However there was one couple their about three weeks ago one Wednesday evening. Other than that it has been generally quiet - save the ranger who I saw last week - he didn't stop either !

yeah its totally dead at the minute with the press, letting on now everyone goes there, hopefully tho it will pass over n die down n then arsons bank will be back up n running.. but id stay away for the moment so everyone thinks nothing is going on!! then wen they relise that the boy racers n mad folk might not bother going!!
but only time will tell i guess

I can't provide any relative comparison than before as I just visited it few times in last month or so. Twice I found the action there, it was a full action - once in late evening and once at the start of the sunset on Tuesdays.
