I've replied to a number of ads and forum meets on here, but it's a real rarity for anyone who can be bothered to actually respond. Ever.
My e-mails are polite, respectful, truthful and don't use any crudity
So is my experience so common?

Sadly if you read many of the threads in the Cafe they will often be from single males complaing that they seldom, if ever get replies to their pm's etc.
With the ratio of men to women/couples being so much higher it is a fact that people can afford to be more choosy to whom they reply or want to meet.
Not getting replies is not always down to bad manners either. Sometimes it is down to sheer weight of numbers and, for example, we have had upward of 100 pm's in a day.
Even the most prolific writers amongst us would not have the time to reply to all of them.
Just keep trying is all I can suggest. You may break through at some point and I'm sure it will be worth the wait ;-)

I can only add the same message and support which Red Hot as already said to you. Dont give up and keep plugging away at it.
It might help if you joined in with some of the 'lighter' posts, the general banter and let people get to know you a little better (I must admit that I dont remember your user name, so others probably dont as well) and remember that a lot of people dont use the internet to arrange their meets, they do the 'old fashioned' dogging, ie just getting out and finding the car parks.
Good luck and even if it does take a while for the meets to start, you can always join in with the banter and have a great laugh while you waiting for it to happen

Well bearing in mind my original gripe, it's only polite that I say a big thank you to all that have responded.
Unfortunately whilst I'd love to hang around on the forums, it's just one extra excuse that would make sure that I'd never get away from this d*mned machine

have to say ive been on here 2 years also, and only met 3 people, in total, in all that time, like TJ said and others supporting, unfortunatley we single men although a majority are actually a minority of being contacted due to the amount of people pming couples and female.

I can only repeat what the rest have said 'keep on trying'. Like you I got nowhere with ads., but then from the chatroom I met up with a great lady who has become a mate as well as a playmate. I suggest you dip your toe into the chatrooms, find one local to you and give it a whirl. Flirt for England, but don't come across as a 'single scumbag' (see post in the Cafe) - it worked for me. I've now met some super people, not necessarily for shagging, but the sort you can enjoy a night at the pub with. The 'East Anglia mob' are having a straight pub-type room meet this weekend and at least two dozen (singles and couples) have said they'll be coming - who knows what'll come of it but that's part of the fun of swinging.
