Hi M,
Boy racers and brightly lit cruisng vehicles have tended to keep players away. We've met some really nice folk up there too though. Try going on those nights when you think most people would rather be at home - you might strike lucky !

I am fairly new to dogging but do live in Bristol area and have recently had some fun at one of the more well know areas that is out of Bristol on way to Bath - check out dogging section for info. The large park area mentioned as site in Bristol is not so great these days it seems as a) hard to pass by casually b) bloody big area which means lots of folk for different reaosn, not all doggers c) boys in blue visit most nights with the torch. I find it safer to drive through slowly - which is allowed, see who is there that suits your category, if you are comfortable then park up and wonder by them if it appears safe. Many stay in cars for while and flick lights on/off see if they get a reaction....not sure if there is a code of oractice for that but might be safer then walking around all night. Younger folks go there to 'smoke' sometimes and they are probably not the most common doggers so, if there are lots of people in a car then best to move on. Don't go loaded with valuable just to be sensible and if you are stopped by police, have a sensible story for being out - mostly they want to move folk on and know why you are there. Maybe the more knowledgable out there can check teh dogging section locations page and make sure it is up to date so newbies like me can go to right places.
