Hi All
Had my details taken this evening at one of the known sites in the medway area & was wondering how seriously I should take what I was told. I'm not known to the police but they told me an incident report would be created & put on file, i.e reg no taken + address & time I was there etc & if I'm caught again they may prosecute me. Also to stay away from the site as they will be stepping up the checks & using unmarked cars. What I'd like to know is what can I be prosecuted for & has anyone else had the same experience but still carried on dogging & been caught again?
Regards

bloody hell, when you said "captured" i thought ole plod had only gorn and kidnapped you  so i'm relieved to hear you are ok stevo wink
personally, i wouldn't concearn yourself about it steve..certain constables are very insecure and really only join up to throw around some authority..their uniform allows them to do that of course, and dogging is an area these plod like to exploit, because for the most part, doggers are going to be very subservient to them..
the use of the phrase "incident report" and "file" says a lot about the mentality..and telling you they will be using unmarked cars rolleyes well, were that the case, it would be kinda self defeating the point in broadcasting it if it wasn't just a the posters, notices and threats are just frightners steve..they don't hassle couples as much as they do single fellas, because there isn't so much mental blackmail available to them..most of the coppers are fine anyway..you just bumped into a couple of pratts, thats all..i bet one was smirking whilst the other was giving it all the rattle too..i can see the seriousness on their faces now lol fucking makes you die doesn't it?
we are quite lucky in this area i guess, as the police attention rarely amounts to anything more than a quick loop of the venue to ensure everything is fine.."the master" has been stopped a few times, "singledogger" too as they were withdrawing from some steamy action..even then, the conversations with the police were jovial  seems like most of the police lads and lasses in these parts view the game with faint amusement and curiosity..sometimes "the master" is recognised by a passing patrol, and they ask him if his luck has been in  maybe "the master's" honesty about his intent has something to do with dissarming them  he has a pervy innocence about him that makes you chuckle, and gets couples chasing him around for his services  (edited for some really shite spelling) not sure i've got it right now
hi there what were you doing and did anyone complain there the important questions personally id say i was bat watching with a grin and ask them what they thought i was doing
hmm, i hadn't considered you might have been captured bang to rights having a spank or something stevo lol c'mon you rascal, spill the beans, you weren't onto a result and got caught with yer best shafting trousers around yer ankles were ya?
if i were old bill and coped a load of "bouncy" cupping those bazookas as per the avatar, i'd arrest her for attempting to suffocate a couple of bald doggers  i thought it was a picture of "right said fred" being "mothered" until i looked closer..thats a fine pair by any standards bouncy wink
We have been pulled by the police a few times in the area in huddersfield, they asked us what we were doing there and we told them we had come to see what all this dogging malarky was, they spouted off about how dangerous it was hanging round these parts and the rest of it, but at the end of the day as we are a couple we are less likely to get hassled and intimidated, also since we are there together we have nothing to hide from each other, they obvioulsly new we wernt newbies and took it all in good jest but I can imagine how a single male on his own can be scared off especially if he has a partner at home he doesnt want to find out about his goings on, I would say dont worry thou im sure they were just trying to scare you, I know someone who has been pulled 3 times in the same area and he didnt recieve anything but his wife did know he went up there, hope my ramblings help xxxx
another load of cobblers by the power of the law pmsfl lol dont worry about it too much steveo ive been approched many times by the long arm of the law while dogging and im just polite and always have been to them. never give them any ammo to get back at ya with is the key just answer there questions and be polite...... as mr dirty says i am known to afew of the bobbys that go to my local site and ive never had anything said to me only how are ya wot u doing here etc etc and ive always been honest with then i say im looking for a cpl biggrin
take the time i was out dogging and a guy i knew very well was there we went off with a cpl and unfortunalty that fatefull nite he died (massive heart attack) while having fun with the said lady i tryed for over an hour to revive him (im first aid trained by the way)anyway i had 5 police cars turn up and 2 cops in each car and they all questioned me and i told the truth why i was there think thats why i got questioned by them all because i was honest or they cudnt belive it.................. im rambling now sorry the point im making is dont worry wink
Thats really bad luck SD,the couple and especially the lady concearned musy have been really upset as well as yourself obviously, the only consolation I can think of is he died doing something he enjoyed, condolences, john
Thats why I prefer to stick to a site where I have the right to be naked. I suppose in the end it all depends what you were doing at the time. I believe we all have the right to do what we like ( within the law ) at any place or time - whoops nearly going into political speech mode.
Now if you had been going up to cars and sticking your knob at the window then yes I would be worried but again I believe as long as consenting adults are involved then there is no question of public decency being breached - unless you are openly flaunting it to all and sundry.
In my pre-dogging days I had my 'details' taking when I admitted I had been reading a porno mag when the cops pulled up in a lay-by because they thought I had been fly-tipping they gave the car a good going over and when they went to check the bushes nearby found a hi-fi centre that had been nicked and dumped ( so in someways they should have given me an award ).
Like others have said its best not to give them any reason to 'nick' you, I believe most are human and would rather be out doing useful police work.

I'd like to know what for too - it's hardly illegal to be parked in a car park! lol
Have to be an echo and say don't worry about it mate. Had my details taken so many times I should have a filing cabinet all to myself in the Thames Valley area
D
Thanks everyone for the replies!
I can assure everybody I was doing nothing improper, I had just watched a couple "showing" & was talking to 2 other blokes about whether or not to stay & had they witnessed any other shows here, all typical dogging banter when they showed up. None of us were doing anything wrong & obviously being in a car park at in the morning would no doubt raise the suspicion level of any bobby. Really pissed me off as it has me thinking twice before pulling into the car park again which I suppose was there intention all along sad

Thats brilliant that! what incident took place? are you hiding something or did you actualy tell them what you were doing there? and did they tell you what they were gonna prosecute you for if they do see you there again? you must have been taking up 2 parking spaces lol, god you'd think they'd have better things to do with themselves lol

no, they knew exactly what you were doing there streve..thats why they ruffled you up..they would have been more cautious, and indeed more selective in their terminology if they thought they had a valid case of wrong-doing on their hands wink
i'm all in favour of police attention in carparks, after all, if they were no-go areas for the patrols at night things would really get crazy..nope, as a single fella, they'll assume you are married, employed or both..they know they can frighten the hell out of most fellas with threats of home visits, or letters/calls to an employer..other things they cite are "the sex offender's register" and "ASBOs"....no court will entertain a case of you being in a public carpark, at night...the police know that..as we've all said previously, most coppers don't care about our antics, and are only concearned with our welfare..however..the sight of doggers fleeing a carpark when they enter often causes amusement lol unfortunately, some take it further and dish out some verbal bullyboy tactics, and might even take the attitude that if you didn't leg it, then you were being "cocky"..interestingly, i know a fella (we call him wing commander) who is rather well versed in matters of legality..on one such occassion where he thought the attitude of the questioning constable to be innapropiate, he demanded the pc accompany him to the local nick, where he would take the matter up with the desk seargent..upshot being, wing co was issued with a formal apology..it transpired the pc was well off his patch, and had absolutely no reason to be in or near thetford forest in the first place rolleyes
you can let the incident put you off dogging if you wish steve..you'll have many supporters in your assertations that "arranged" is the only alternative to the overwhelming hassles experienced in carparks i'm sure...thats your choice
hi if from yer location the place you were in is connected to a tree then the kent police have been hitting this place quite hard over the last few weeks, but in answer to your question as long as you are not caught with yer trousers down or nuts deep in somebody the police can do nothing at all. they know why you are there and the kent chief of police has vowed to stamp out this antisocial behaviour ( seems friendly to me tho) so they are trying to scare people off. they have my name and address so many times i must be on everybodies xmas card list by now. having said that trouble between the boy racers and some doggers has flared physicaly in recent weeks so watch yerself mate. hey you never know but we may already know each other.
Hi SteveO Hope they were in uniform,if not hope you asked them for ID before giving out ago we had a perv round here claiming to be CID and trying to get names and ask plain clothes officers for ID, if they are genuine they will never object to your request
I got stopped leaving a dogging location and told the police the truth!, they were quite shocked. I just wish the police would get more involved when we get trouble with scum bags at dogging sites. The police tell us how bad it is that consenting adults have sex with each other whilst the house down the road is being burgled!!!.
I just think the police were out to scare you away and were hoping that by doing so you would be less likely to come back, I wouldn't worry about anything said to you. I've had both ends of the spectrum when it comes to the police, most of the time they don't even bother stopping now as they know the car has tax, legal tyres etc and they would just be wasting their time. But sometimes you get the over the top copper, who is out on a personal crusade to rid the town of dogging action.
Always ask to see the warrant card of any copper who stops you, it's your legal right to do so and write down the names and numbers of the coppers, I always do this, and after a while the same copper doesn't want to keep pulling you as they know that it might be seen as harressment, after all as long as you don't get caught in the act then your not actually doing anything wrong by being parked in a car park at night.
You have commited no offence Steve , calm down and just ignore them .
I remember the first and only time I had my name and address taken down by the cops at a dogging site as they said there was a lot of trouble there with stolen goods being handed on.
I lied and said I was just chilling out and getting away from civilisation.
I was absolutely pissing myself for ages afterward but nothing happened.

Incident report, MAY, mean your details are recorded on a database somewhere but only maybe, then if a violent crime happened to be committed at the carpark concerned you 'may' find your self being cross referenced as a ' known frequenter' of the site or suspected activity.
There is nothing inherently illegal other than possibly considering a couple of very minor bye law things if you were spending too long there.
Some are just tossers some are good coppers who will visit sites on a random basis and believe it or not they do provide some benefit as they probably scare away the potentential dangerous deviants, random questioning and detail taking is all part of this, unless of course you encounter a tosser who joined to make up for some personal social ineptitude.
Just don't get caught with your pants down etc, don't pester anyone and don't be rude to the coppers and generally they will treat you fairly (you never know when they say visit ing in un-marked they may mean themselves at night in their own car, nough said.
Will echo the last comments. Be respectful, don't approach anyone unless you get an invite and if you don't feel comfortable about a car trust your instincts. Plenty of unmarked cars round this area and they have started going out paired up. Be safe and be lucky.
Dave
Again thanks to everyone for there response, while I'll probably stay away from the site for a week or two I will certainly not let it put me off smile Who knows I might even park down the road & walk into the site & if they do turn up I can always do a runner into the bushes!! lol
Cheers everyone x

Surely it cannot be the SAME wing commander, we are too far away from Norfolk??

the wing commander gets around wink so you never know lol the wing co we know has an uncanny knack for getting couples, or rather the female half of, to display her wares, at play or at rest for his roving lens..each time we ask him if he's found any new locations, he says "yeah"..then gives us a pictorial tour via the lcd screen on his digi-cam demonstrating the various talents found within
he is also rather well spoken, don't you know? hence the handle..toodle pip
legging it into the bushes seems to raise thier hackles, bit like a terrier with a rabbit. have seen many a dooger who legged it into the bushes persued by darth vader and his stormtroopers, so it may not be that good an idea. keep out of sight and calmly leave by the exit may be a better idea. i actualy can spell but fall down on the typing
Just a little info make of it what you will.
I leave the rest to your imagination where it comes from.
If you get caught in flagranta could be.
Conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace (now come the old jokes!)
You have to be found commiting this not on a complaint from public.
Also there is outraging public decency, it to must be witnessed by officer.
If you have the old man out then it's indecent exposure, if "hard"
If you are stopped they can check you search you, outer clothing hat, no strip search, but if they suspect drugs then it's off to the nick for a search.
Officers must identify themseleves if in plain clothes with a warrant card and must give you a copy of the search record they make out, insist on it!
My advice is..yes sir..no sir..3 bags full sir..
you live to dog another day.
Plus leave your car as far away as safely possible, they cannot then connect you to it.
I too have been questioned by the police whilst sitting in a carpark at night. First occasion they just took details into their poket books, other time I was given a producer to show vehicle documents at local cop shop which I did and I never heard anything more.
As the other messages have said nothing to really worry about just exercising their "powers" some more than others.

There is a legal term which can be used is this case. If an officer of the law asks you for your details, Just ask him/her " What is their reason for Provacation?" In other words what was it about or doing which provocuted them to stop you and ask for your details.
They have to have a good reason for this, Being parked in a car park at night is not one, unless it is 24hr pay and display and you do not have a ticket.
This term is taught to police officers and it may deter some of the plob if they think you know the law as well. Also take their numbers and make a complaint to their Chief Constable.
I have been stopped on several occasions and that line kills them dead in the water every time. Again as long as you are not in the act of intercoarse or exposing yourself in a public place there is nothing they can do. Unless you are out with a prostertuite who is know to them, then you are in deep do do!
