Not a good idea.
It just invites others to post our REG. No's, we can't speak for others but we have no wish to have our's posted.
PLEASE do not post any car reg numbers on the site. either your's our those of others.
Although I do have sympathy with the idea of posting certain reg numbers as a warning, this is bound to get us into a deep load of shit when the nutters start to post reg numbers in revenge
i would say that would be illegal any how to post someones reg number without there consent, what if they was to sell that car to someone NORMAL ? and they are driving around there local dogging spot by accident ,to be pointed at by doggers saying look at that tw*t
mark if you read this it might be an idea to block them certain type of things being allowed to be entred on the forum it might prove hard i know but thank god we have good mods on here who will remove any number plates which are posted

Was out dogging last night and noticed an idiot I saw the last time I visited this location, was up to his same old tricks (guess most people know what Im talking about!).
Obviously there is nothing at all to be done about twattish boy racers, in kevved up old bangers, but perhaps it would be a good idea to post car details and reg numbers of people who are regular visitors to a certain location, and behave in a way that spoils things for most others there?
Perhaps having details posted up the net wouldnt make a scrap of difference to these people, but it would possibly be helpful to newbies who after the seeing the car in question would be able to steer well clear?
I

not a good idea!

You can bet your bottom dollar on that !!

So is it ok to do partial number plate naming giving a description of the car or is that not allowed or a good idea

Absolutely NOT
This could entangle the site in some nasty legal struggle which Mark would not be happy about. Remember this site is owned by someone who puts a great deal of time effort and love into maintaining it for FREE - he does not need some bloke with a grudge (however justified) bringing the whole lot crashing down on his head.
evil
I can't really comment on what this particular guy was doing and whether he was breaking any laws - but he does have the right to be there the same as you.
Without being offensive it was a daft suggestion, as was the partial number plates part.
However annoying these people are, please don't forget that there are any number of people equally offended by what this site promotes - in the same way that you find what this guy was doing as offensive.
Would you like the more straight-laced people of your community to start sending your number plate to the local press to try and stop what they deem as unacceptable behaviour in car parks which "spoils things for most others" as far as they are concerned?
Just my comments

This to you may have been a daft suggestion and I have not taken offence, the only reason I mentioned this is that it is on posting on the Swingingheaven dogging forum
That is fine Billy but I just wanted to point out that the whole thing is a minefield - and not to mention a little hypocritical.
I just felt it was a bit cheeky to suggest posting number plates on here as a way of stopping someone doing something which was causing offence to them - when all it was preventing them from doing is having sex/watching sex, outdoors, in a public place wink
It is a pain in the arse I know when these spoilers are out and about - but naming and shaming them on a totally public access website is just not on.
But again, I must stress that I have no idea what this person was doing which caused the problem in the first place.
