This may be a bad idea but looking at the post's this week have noticed that they are getting a bit dull, there only seems to be silk and big G posting any sort of questions.
Anyway without rambling we have owned the same car for a number of years now confused

.
It could be time for a change.
Any sale's men out there suggest any make, models etc that would aid us in our quest to become a pro dogging couple?
Have been considering four wheel drive cool

but would not like to exclude the shorter dogger wink

Any Ideas :?:

Hi Hotcouple,
Well it all depends on how much dosh you want to spend.
So lets say for Â£40,000
Car = Merc CLK with all the gadets and leather
4x4 = VW Touareg with all gadets and leather
For 25,000 to 30,000
Car = Audi A6, BMW series 5 or a Jag S type
4x4 = Landrover Discovery
For 20,000 to 25,000
Car = Audi A4, Jag X type, BMW Series 3 all with gadets and full leather
4x4 = Toyota Rav 4 or Mitsubusi shogun
For 18,000 to 20,000
Car = passat or Audi A3
4x4 = you will be lucky to find a decent new one.
But if you just want a good quality cheap one the how about the new skoda octivia as top model price is under Â£18,000 with all gadets inc sat nav (to find the best places) and leather. These must be good cars as the traffic police in 5 counties have them (For their sheer performance)!!!

What you really need is an old car, Hillman used to make a station wagon and the boot was in two parts so the glass top half flipped up and the metal bottom flipped down at 90 degrees..........perfect for dogging!
My childhood picnics were always spent on deckchairs around a Hillman.......although more often they ended up in the car as it would always rain! biggrin

For what it's worth we are in the same position and plan to replace our car late summer / early autumn. How about the XTrail as a fairly low price 4X4? Are 4X4s really better for dogging?

yuk !!! they are hairdressers 4x4 a rangerover mk2 a proper 4x4 and it wont get bogged down on a wet grass verge lol

or you could go for a volvo 850 or v70 t5 eatate resonable economy, porsche like performance acre`s of room and not a lot of money to buy :lol:

Glad to see that some people have got into the sprit of things. About putting this in the cafe, we had a long think about and then read the forum notes, and guess what we put it in the dogging section strange that one confused

Not quite sure we needed so much detail, maybe should do a poll on the number of used car salesmen who are now sexual deviants. lol

Right then Hotcoupleincar, I got it all worked out!!! We can easily sort you a nice new car for you!
We all meet up this weekend and pay a visit to one of these car show supermarket thingys and we need to arrange for at least four or five single doggers to come along and help us with this little experiment!
We then go for a walk round the showroom and around the outside display areas and try out each and every car they have on display. The car which allows both of us to have fun in the back, has a 'comfy' bonnet, good interior lights and doesnt scratch too easy wins lol

You can tell regular couples as the car looks like its had a bad dose of brake fluid thrown over the doors. !!!

Trouble is we would come out with some old banger and been round the clock about at twice and not very reliable.
And no before anyone thinks of this before me it's not the missus.
