Just wondered if any doggers had recently been stopped by police and what kind of feedback they had. I am from Warrington and the 2 spots in our area now seem well marshalled. The spot near to Wigan and Leigh also seems well covered.
The police who stopped me were very friendly, and asked me if I was aware that the area was used for subversive sexual activity! I made my excuses (stopped to make a business call bla bla) and they played the game, just suggesting i didn't go there again.
Has anyone else had any run-ins, and with the police being so vigilant, are people coming up with other spots that aren't known??
If anyone knows areas close to me that are secluded but used by couples, i would love to hear from you.

I had no idea that Dogging was a subversive activity! Do people meeting in remote car parks for mutual fun pose a real threat to the well being of our Nation State or undermine our economic system?
Well since our Nation State is based on the missionary position, yes it could be taken that dogging and swinging in general is subversive...
Caught by the law !!!!! Beats being pulled by the fuzz !!!!!!!!
Why cant mr plod go and catch some real criminals
examples;;
speeding motorists near schools
chavs in shopping centres
burglars
rapists
child molestors

Not a good attitude. Plenty of the busier locations NEED to be policed. If they weren't there'd be A LOT of violent crime and much LESS dogging. Think about it. The police presence keeps rapists and other troublemakers wary, just as it does the doggers.
OK, some officers get carried away with the power and their behaviour becomes harrassment, but the majority of officers are just doing their job and they're OK. Yes they will move you on, but so what?
The police have always been OK with me. In fact they have been a real asset to have around at times
Too right, i think im right in saying, Hasnt there been a post to police and dogging on here? stating that dogging isnt realy against the law? unless some one complains of course.
Pete

Yep they can get you on the following;
1) Indecent Exposure (men only, women can no longer be charged for this)
2) Gross Indecency if your knobs hard/having a wank/being pulled off etc
You have got to be real careful, remember this is the same as flashing in the eyes of the law. I have had friends nicked for shagging in a car cause the windows weren't steamed up enough... smile

Yes, they absoutely do! Having fun in car parks threatens all the clean living foilk out there by making them jealous.....and sitting in car parks means the petrol's not being used, costing the poor old gov untold billions in fuel tax. Subversive at it's worst, shame on us lol
I agree with Blue that the police do a good job. We've all seen the posts on her by poor folk who've been attacked by the mindless boy racer and homophobe brigade. But the doggers still get moved on.
I just have a fear of going and parking up now knowing there is every likelihood the police could turn up.
I think the only solution is to use our wonderful site here and revert to pre-arranged meets in 'alternative' locations beforehand lol

Surely a case of sexual discrimination if true. Don't suppose anyone is brave enough to drag it through the law to find out though !!!
Ant
totally true mate, they get charged with causing a public order offence. When a woman stands up what can you see? a bit of fluff and thats about it. tits haven't been illegal to show for years and years....but if you do get them out in public and the police think you are going to be a nuisance i.e. in a busy high street the you will be charged with a public order offence. (if you dont heed their warnings of course and put them away)

Errrrrrrrrrrrrr...... I don't think that's true, but the public order offence laws are full of shite....... I know what, I'll go and flash at a cop and see if I get arrested......... the things I do for SH lol
Flash them my way Blue...lemme do a citizens arrest on ya smile
I think that a visit to a web site that explains the Sec Offences Act 2004 (I think) is needed. You'l find that terms like "Indecent Exposure" etc have now all been superceded. From my reading of the relevant parts of the Act, the "exposure" of your "bits" is only an offence if you do it knowing that it may cause offence, or may be seen by minors.
And yes I've been stopped by the Plod, and lets face it they have jobs to do as well as has been said. Once I got a full "Stop and Search", on the grounds that if they didn't have enough white guys "stopped", then the Police may be accused of "institutional racism", and I was a soft target to them. The next time I was given a warning about the prevelance of "gay activity" on the car park, so I reached for a notepad and pen, told the copper that I was from Gay Times, and asked him to elaborate on the story. He quickly went away.

You mean the Sexual Offences Act 2003. From 2003 exposure was included as a sexual offence ... section 66... see here... ..... You'll see that it refers to "he" but the law is written like that often and it doesn't mean that women cannot be prosecuted for exposure.... you will see that the exposure needs to be intentional and meant to cause distress and so on if it is to be considered a crime. Voyeurism (which is probably more likey to apply to doggers) is also included in this Act (S. 67), but you will see that watching sex is only actually illegal if the people being watched don't consent. Yes, a legal minefield cos anything pertaining to the definition of "consent" always is.
This is just exposure and voyeurism as it now relates to sexual offences. There are still various public order offences that I am not as familiar with, but which still could apply to dogging. They are obviously not as serious as being done for a sexual offence, but they are criminal nonetheless. The upshot is, be careful, but remember very few people ever get arrested for consenting dogging related behaviours.. FACT.
I think the attitude of the police varies from force to force and location to location !, a few years back i was having a one to one with a girlfriend in surrey when to police came to the car door, they asked he is she wanted to be there, she said yes ( with a groan !) and they went away !
I was in dorset at the weekend and each night they would cruise through the car park but never stopped , I think it was just to make sure things were nt going on too publicly!
It is NOW illegal to watch a couple perform an act of gross indecency too.. You will all be in the sh1t.
So don't get caught near a car with a couple in..
This includes standing by a car, in a bush or using any kind of electronic device such as a camera or night sight. Unless your badger watchin !!!!
Isn't GROSS indecency illegal by its very nature anyway? SO if you are watching GROSS indecency going on, thats like inciting its perpeptuation, therefore also being illegal. Goes without saying.
We're NOT talking about GROSS indecency though when referring to dogging, unless where you are you have fathers bringing their young daughters to be watched etc.
There's a difference between indecency and gross indecency, and questions abound over just what indecency is in the first place.

There's a difference between indecency and gross indecency, and questions abound over just what indecency is in the first place.

Gross indecency as defined by the Sexual Offences Act 1956 was mainly aimed at prosecuting men caught shagging other men, either in consenting or non-consenting situations until homosexual sex between men was decriminalised in 1967. After that, gross indecency was only really thrown at you if you were caught shagging a guy in a non-private place, or if he wasn't consenting (buggery). Up until 1994 if you anally a guy (or a woman) you got convicted of buggery, not , as the definition of only covered vaginal penetration. The offence of was restated in Section 142 of the Criminal Justice & Public Order Act 1994 to include anal sexual intercourse without consent. Since 1994, anal intercourse without consent is a charge contrary to Section 1 of the Sexual Offences Act 1956 and not buggery contrary to Section 12 of the 1956 Act. Gross indecency however stayed on the books after the re-vamp in 1994 but was practically meaningless as a sexual offence, and it only could be used if you were caught buggering someone (consentingly) in a non-private place. Alarmingly however, a "non-private place" included someone watching two guys shagging... even if it took place in a private place  . Therefore an all guy threesome or a MMF threesome (or moresome) where the guys sexually interacted was illegal for all parties. I of course disregarded this law completely lol
The Sexual Offences Act 2003 has practically revolutionised sexual offences. (section 1) now includes non consenting vaginal, anal, and oral penile penetration, and buggery is no longer included. Buggery and its old bed fellow gross indecency are things of the past.... It is now not illegal to take part in a bi MMF.... wooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooo................ However, it is now a criminal offence to have consenting sex with someone in a public toilet (section 71, SOA 2003).... obviously aimed at cottagers..... shagging in car parks or laybys and so on is not illegal unless someone is offended.... then you would most probably be done for exposure (section 66, SOA 2003) or one of the lesser public order offences. It is not illegal to watch someone having sex unless they do not consent to you watching (section 67, SOA 2003)....
Hope this clarifies  wink
this issue of law always confuses me..so, a girl enters a carpark, and sucks 12 guys off..she is caught bang to rights by plod, who charge her with "committing an indecent act" yet all the lads are thinking, "well, that was very decent of her"..matter of perspective i suppose lol
