CUT BACK THE TREES TO FLUSH OUT PERVERTS - UPDATE

Saw this Report in the Leicester Mercury, thought I would post for information.

Trees and bushes could be cut back to stop perverts meeting at a beauty spot.
*** has become a hotspot for dogging and swinging - where strangers meet for sex.
People living nearby have started to boycott the pool because of its unsavoury reputation.
Coun Peter Batty, who represents *** Borough Council, said he wanted to have foliage removed to flush out the swingers.
He said: "The problems are getting worse, particularly because of the good weather we have had.
"It is a great shame what is happening there as it is a lovely place, and it is wrong the actions of a minority are keeping people away.
"I will be pushing for *** Borough Council to go there and cut back some of the trees and bushes which these people are using as cover.
"This is a family place and a beautiful spot and the swingers are using this in daylight - people have seen what they are doing.
"I will also be pushing for the police to do more."
The nature reserve is recommended on sleazy websites as a popular swingers' meeting point.
As a result, villagers said they have been avoiding it because they are worried about what they might see.
*** resident Sue Vardy has stopped walking there with her mum.
She said: "It is disgusting what people are up to down there and I have heard it is getting worse.
"There are people there all day, waiting in their cars. I can't believe these people don't have jobs or anything else to do.
"I used to go down there with my mum, but I won't any more. I am worried about what I will see.
"I'm not sure if trimming bushes and trees is the right thing, but the tall grass should be cut back.
"I hope the council doesn't drag its feet on this one.
"What we need is for these people to be named and shamed, or for someone to go down there to catch these people in the act and get some prosecutions.
"It may not be pleasant for that person, but it needs doing.
"They wouldn't meet there if they didn't think they could get away with it."
*** local policing unit commander, Martin Hall said: "We are aware of the issue and have increased patrols in the area.
"We are also working with the council and partner agencies to try to make the area less attractive for people who wish to engage in this kind of activity."

those in the know will already know that, you should at least not name the place on an open for the doggers putting on shows in a well used place for the joe public they are the ones who spoil it, that gos for the gays as well. sadly this is happerning up and down the country and will kill off most of the dogging over.

Ok following on Would anyone say that dogging and swinging were one and the same? I cam see that some Swingers may also be doggers. And that Doggers may indulge in Swinging. But, they are two entirely different things aren't they. Distant relatives maybe but not the same?

wat goes on there is dogging not swinging
in the past iv been there for fun and it was good but we all made sure that the public cudnt see...........ppl kept guard
more recently iv been there as its a nice quiet place to sit and think (in the carpark and picnic area) and those ppl that know me know my reasons behind that
last time i went there weres till several cars there but not as many as normal

On the occasions I have been, I would say that the place has no swinging activity and little to no dogging. It is , in the main, single gay/bi men who meet in the woods and strip off etc, most of whom have total disregard for the public or discretion, but its less offensive for the paper to say swingers/doggers than to point the finger at the real culprits.
.. my rant over smile

As with most sites, peoples experiences can differ minute - minute, i.e you can have just missed a couple by a minute or you may have just had a show, making your opinion favourable but those who just missed it, less so.
I spoke with some of the regular doggers and they confirmed that it isn't the respectible swingers/doggers that are to blame at this particular site, it is the blatant goings on of the single gay/bi men.
If the council do indeed fit cctv, name and shame, cut down shrubbary, it will only move people on to a new location, and if behaviour does not change, then this will come under the same scrutiny.

I'll introduce a note of dissent here: The difference between single, single-bi and single dogger is not apparent to "those who matter".
Attempting to explain the situation (Yeah....well, it ain't the doggers mate...it's the gay guys and the bi-guys that are the trouble....I mean...me and the missus cum here for a play wiv sum of dese guys...but all these gays and that...they's just ruinin' it for us...and the TVs' and that..well, they's just so OTT) is just likely to have people screaming "kill the lot of them".
And in any case, you'll find that while the gay guys are seen as the main problem, the police/council/neighbourhood dogg(sorry, watch) will see the couples and their attendant admirers as the problem.

i think the point is if its daytime where people take there kids ,walk the dog ect-ect then dont you think you should go else where. i know its become a huge problem as late .

Many people in this "game" need to have the motto: "Keep it out the sight of the vanillas" tatooed on their heads/tits/cocks/ (delete as necessary). AND they need to CLEAN THEIR CRAP UP AND NOT LEAVE RUBBERS AND TISSUES LYING AROUND.

where we go - its the couples and the idiots they attract that cause the probs - no offence to couples but they do tend to have about 6+ cars just follow them around in the hope of a wank. If we see couples about then we normally move to another site cos we know that they and their followers will kill the night.

That's always going to happen in those laybys. Most couples drive in, see the amount of cars parked and the guys standing around, and get out quick !
Naturally, they go to the lane up the road first, and get followed. I was parked there a few weeks ago at about half-past-one in the morning, there was more traffic on that lane than on the trunk road at its top !
Not only that, but the gay activity there in the daytime means that it tends to be a magnet for the unattached wanting a blow-job....don't go in the wood !

again i cant comment - we only go mon to thurs cos w/ends tend to be ruined by the cpls - but the lane is always empty at in the morning - we know cos we actually drive down and look - theres not so many cars in the laybys due to the amount of i'm not sure if we're talking about the same laybys.
the laybys we use have always been gay/bi laybys and surprise surprise any probs are caused by straight guys at the graffitti at pitsford for an example of their what the hell would you be doing in the woods at the laybys if you werent looking for male action ?
