There is a constant police surveilance unit here, ( albiet looking for drug traffickers, but not opposed to wandering over and 'having a chat/recording your numberplate )', these cops are all plain clothes, so please avoid at all costs.

This is also patrolled a LOT now - quite an unfriendly approach by local police too - I would suggest avoiding it also.
