I've just had the same discussion with a guy in a layby.
He said he'd read about it on the net, and had been there an hour and had seen nothing. I said I'd been there a week and seen less.
If you expect to go to a "site" and see a beautiful young lady, all sussied-up, fit, and ready for "it".....you won't.
Most "dogging" is by invitation now, the press and prats have ended the old days when couples drove into car parks and a few guys were there....now if a couple drive in a few dozen are there, and they ain't too pleasant either. So, end of the easy days.
You may get lucky, but the chances are you'll get to do a lot of sleeping in your car while waiting.
There are still some active sites near Peterborough, but they are mainly gay now...although there is one where a couple put on a show...but nobodies telling anymore.
The "active" sites are no longer on the net...word of mouth mainly and old hands only..

Whilst I have been a member for some time, this is my first post, thought it was time to join in some of the conversation.
I am amazed the amount of guys who expect a show/participation to be laid on for them. Or the " I'm free tonight, give me a ring". Get real, you are in the minority. If you want to see some action, you will have to be very patient, respectful, courteous and easy going, Its going to take time!
I have been dogging for a few years now and it has taken that long to get to know a few of the couples in the circuit so to has its ups and downs, I have spent numerous nights listening to the radio and freezing my nuts off watching an endless parade of cars, with single men in, doing the rounds.
There has also been a few excellent nights! That's the attraction of it all.
This is an all 2 common theme alas :cry: have been checking out sites around portsmouth and to date have never seen a couple or single lady must admit i wouldnt know how to approach thing's even if i did still will carry on trying and hope that i find an elusive invite or stumble on the right night .

Have had some interesting times. But have also had to wait around alot. Patenice is a must!!!!
It aint so much easy as nearly impossible.
Trying find decent dogging sites is hard at best, trying to meet or talk to people about it seems almost impossible.
So far I have replied to around 20 or so couples and individuals about dogging in Fife and Central Scotland, most all of them are inexperienced and no one seems to know who to talk to or where to go.
I agree whole heartedly that safety is paramount and most action takes place within established circles, but it does resemble the chicken and egg routine. If you dont know how can you find out.
Confused, frustrated and perplexed...... Think I better lie down now... head hurts.
Maybe the reason people arent finding 'decent' dogging sites , or being unsuccessful in their dogging efforts , or are just plain not enjoying them is a simple one !
Perhaps in all the press speculation , attempts to write down rules and regulations , symbols signs and agreed stipulations they have just failed to realise............that dogging isnt what they want to do at all !
Dogging as far as I can tell existed long long before Stan Collymore , long before The News of the World knew about it , in the mist of swinging times even BSH (before Swinging Heaven) . If youre looking for instant gratification , comfortable surroundings with non-threatening people who you have vetted and found to be your perfect match . If you want men who are certain age , height and build , if you want an intelligent chat afterwards , and no chance of getting moved on by the police , interrupted by other people . If you want everyone to always be patient with you and never pushy , if you want them all to smell like roses and turn up in exactly the right amounts at the exact right time . In short if you dont want to take any chances at all , and find the idea of spontaneous ,risky , sordid sexual exchanges with strangers , then sad to say Dogging isnt what you want!
Some of the ad's and complaints about dogging are like posting a thread complaining that you wanted a gang bang , but with only one bloke . It IS what it IS .

If you can't be bothered to wait, don't bother.
if you're thinking of having a social group get-together with a burger van and a caravan just-in-case, don't bother.
In short, if you want dogging to be clean, sterilised, well-spoken, clean-shaven and all-good-old-boys-just-having-fun........it isn't.
All the above are available in sex clubs, they are available in hotels, they are available at your own house.
So why try to change things ?
I heard one guy talk to a couple once, they were parked in a layby (chip paper, cans, bottles, shit, piss and water) and he told them he had a house to himself which was warm...if they wanted to get out of this layby...maybe they went, I dunno...
Not the point though, why was he there if he wanted a warm sterile place ?
