You raise an interesting question here serendipity but then hey I should not be surprised from reading your past positings (flatter flatter).
I think on the whole its something that i dont bother fessing up to. I have found myself in situations such as yours and my feeling is that a herd mentality creeps in, in so much that the moral line out society tries to place on us is that anything outside of a missionary position once a week is heanous so when in a group everyone likes to be seen to toe the line when it comes to sexuallity matters. However get the same people on their own after drink or two and you find that they are probably more interested than they would ever admit but are to scared to go where their curiosity takes them.
In other words, I keep me trap shut !

with me,it depends on who the people friends of mine know,others i wouldn't mention it go dogging,therefore our viewpoint is based on experience,for those that do not share our pastime,their opinions are just that,opinions,usualy gleaned from sensasionalist media hype,or warnings from agony columnists,thats fine,i dont feel the need to redress the balance....let me give you a little story.....recently we attended a party held by our next door conversation soon got round to porn films,at which point,the host,knowing i occassionaly brought such movies back from frequent trips to holland,asked me to fetch one..the choice was random,but it was immediatly obvious that the film was shwartza gigant,or something like that was a german film,featuring a black guy with a 13 inch opening sequence showed him slamming his chopper into a petite a few minutes there was silence,nobody dared remark lest they be labeled a pervert or a my credibility was already down in the ice was broken by one guest,who complained "thats disgusting"!,one guy said something about wishing he had one like it,and was promptly nudged in the ribs by his embarassed this particular case,it was a safer and less offensive option for the majority to cocur with the more aggressivly opiniated anti porn league,and so the film was more mention was made,until i went to the kitchen for another drink,where half of the guests decided they were thirsty upshot was,i ended up bringing from my house,a carrier bag full of porno to discreetly loan to the departing couples,who proceeded to scurry home with my entire collection of filth,most of which i've yet to recoup...
A couple of days ago a bloke I work with asked about the christmas present (portable DVD Player) I had bought for Mr Naughty, I said he loved it and had watched a full film sat in the car waiting for me to come out of the shops. The bloke then asked if he had been watching the Stan Collymore Dogging series, I just laughed and said dont think he likes Stan Collymore! I jsut could not comment on the Dogging thing! Infact the day after when it came up in conversation, I did actually say that I wasnt even sure what dogging was!
I think that people who have only read about dogging in the papers presume it is a free for all in car parks, they dont necesarily know that a lot of it is about the voyeristic/exhibitionist side of things. Not just having a 'quickie' with the next guy who drives up! Therefore, I dont tell anyone about it!
A few friends/two work colleagues know about our 'hobby' but they are people who I really trust and who are non-judgemental, anyone else, No Chance!

As pointed out in my previous post I dont talk about dogging at work or with friends but on several occasions when I have been out I have seen the car of a senior manager he as never mentioned me being there and I've never mentioned it to him but for the next two weeks I will be working closely with him during a training program so that could be interesting will have to wait and see.........
If and when i get asked about "dogging" i simply say "each to thier own" then quickly change the subject. Chickens way out i know but i find it easier.
Interesting i had an exam on friday regarding enlightenment thinking, and one question was about John Lockes Theory of innate ideas. it appears to me that society has an innate idea about swinging and dogging and that it is only via experience and the senses that it will be removed. If at some stage everybody was in a position to experience a swing, either to take part or just to see what happens, then the anti-swing/dogging mentality of society could and should be reversed. If we were all as liberated as we like to think then wouldn't we all be echoing Voltaire's "i may not agree with what you say, but i will defend you right to say it"?
The human race has evolved passed sex as being only to continue the race, and it has become a social thing, therefore why are we suffering as a race for wishing to partake in a social event/passtime?
Am I alone in thinking that if everyone accepted this practice and heaven forbid even participated then it would lose its appeal...so I am not on an evangelical mission to convince the world I am not a pervert ... I am!!!...in its narrowest sense of course.
However I am a believer in open minds and would, as previously quoted by one of the posters herewith, comment on a "each to their own" basis and as long as no one is damaged by any experiences then WGAF.

errrr. well me and 2 other female members of the sight had to explain what dogging was to the taxi driver on the wat home from Marcusos party.
on the way to the party he asked if we was going to a "sex party" and you should of seen the siclence in the car. so on the way back he was asking us about it. and dogging came up. he was quiet shocked at teh respose we gave him.
i think he'll remember that night for a long while!!!

I have only confided in one mate (male), in fact he attended with me once and we both had a good time dogging (though he saw some sex going on while I was still parking the car, I had to wait months!).
