I know the A6 well. Though only about a 100 mile stretch of it, could you pm me with a more specific area/location, i.e. lancs north or birmingam? or somewhere in between

The layby has been closed for a few days while the police and others have a search and rescue practice.
Hands-up the first one to spot the CCTV they've installed.

Was it just a search and rescue practice then Jomu ?- I went past there a few nights ago (very fast !!) and because of the presence there had thought of avoiding it in future.

Well, it was either a practice or they were looking for a body....practice is better 'cause bodies tend to smell the place out in this weather.
As for the cctv...I doubt it, it just ain't worth the expense to catch a few gays and flytippers...or should that be flys and gaytippers ?
In any case, it was gay night tonight.....and there was nothing doing anywhere else either...
Has anyone else noticed that shagging in cars seems to be out of favour now ?

well
the other day police were up there and you were right it was to look for a body cause they found the blokes missing car up there and he had beem reported missing for 5 days. the trouble now is that they were out in full force looking. i chatted to a guy in the snack bar there in the day while out on a days work and he told me all the details.
well hope every thing gets back to normal.

They didn't find anything then.
I'll just keep my nose to the ground then, maybe sniff-out any trouble (sic)
Anyway, they've gone now. Business as usual.
'xcept I've found a better place to wait for trade....not too many drive-bys and reasonably active...
Well, last Saturday I was doing the rounds and stumbled on a rave....stayed for a while and had a nice few hours...looks like the place could be good for a bit of fun as well, I'll keep an eye on it (!!!!!)
